This kit is actually pretty good! The pencil isn’t that great and seems to run out very very quickly but tbh I don’t feel that it’s essential to have for this liquid lipstick to be usable (but that’s just me ). The liquid lipstick itself goes on very easily and has pretty good coverage although you will have to redo the inner lip area after eating/drinking. My main issue is that it transfers quite badly :/ but for the price I rate it very highly.

There are a lovely range of colours. I bought the regal. The packaging drew me in straight away. I was looking forward to getting home and trying it out. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The lip gloss/stick made my lips extremely dry. My lips felt almost smothered by the product even though I only applied a small amount. The colour was not bright enough in my opinion and made my lips look too pale and dry! I would not recommend this lip kit!

I don’t know why this brand gets so much attention. It’s just made in china garbage. Every time I buy a lip product from them I get dermatitis for weeks around my lips and this product was no exception which was one of the reasons why I had to go out and buy L’Oreal’s full cover foundation — to cover the dermatitis!! The Adept Cosmetics 4K lip gloss helped sooth my lips as well. I loathe this brand so much and personally, considering that the makeup is from China, I think their prices should be more like ELF and less like L’Oreal. Sorry to sound like a hater.

Run, run as far away from this product as you can; the concept is lovely, the colors are gorgeous, price ( $10 USD) is great BUT that’s where it ends.
I purchased Regal, a lovely coral ( warm coral) shade and its matching lip liner. Immediately the tip broke off the liner, but I figured I could sharpen it later. Onto the lip color! It was thin, difficult to get any opacity so I applied 2 coats. It went downhill from there; there were large white patches on my lips. Charming. I also felt as though my lips were suffocating with the amount of product on them. Though it applied patchy it also took Herculean effort to scrub it off ( relief!)
I love MUR as their prices are fab and the quality usually great; I think they tried to get in on the lip kit craze but this was poorly executed. If you want a good liquid lip for cheap I’d suggest Jordana and Wet n Wild ( Catsuit): both are cruelty free brands as well. Such a shame because the color was perfect, and the lip liner ( when not broken) applied smoothly. Caveat emptor, ladies and gents.
