Love the colour I have which is 03 it is the darkest shade they carry. I don’t need a mirror for reapplication and it leaves a nice stain. It’s looks very natural tho it’s a deep colour. The consistency is watery but I do feel a bit dry on my lips after I apply. the taste was overwhelming at the beginning but now I sort of got used to it. The main reason I won’t repurchase is because it fades within 1 hour max, without me drinking or eating which is super weird… I apply it on clean lips every time so it can set and drench my lips but it can be gone for no reasons. I remember when I swatched it in stores the stain on my hand lasted for almost half of the day I guess this tint stains skin not lips. For the price and the amount you get this is a nice tint to try out since it worked on a lot of people

Best lip tint i ever tried. I’ve tried body shop & benefit. But this one is the best. I lost count on how many times i’ve repurchased this product

I got this tint in the darkest shade (I think it’s called Bloody Red) on sale at The Face Shop. The photo on this page needs to be updated, because the packaging I have is different. The product is liquid (similar to the consistency of water) and applied using a doe-foot applicator. I think this tint is excellent for when you feel like your face is washed out, and you want to bring a little more colour to it.
I took off one lippie because there is some strange sour taste to this tint. Whenever I run my tongue over my lips, I wince. I’m used to it by now, but I’m wondering if the taste is supposed to be representative of cherries. After the products is worn down, it leaves a pleasant stain to your mouth.
Even with the taste, I would still repurchase (but maybe only if it was on sale again).

Oh my god I’m so glad I decided to buy it. I got it in Juicy Red, in here, it’s a lil more than $6 (Rp 62.000). I think it’s twice more pigmented than Benetint, tastes better, the color is very similar. I just love it. The smell is fresh and doesn’t punch you in the face like Benetint does. I’m just so happy I got it. It only needs 1 swipe on my inner bottom lip to get the color intensity that I want meanwhile it takes me 4 layers of Benetint. This color I got looks as if I just ate popsicle. def will buy it again.
Update: I love this even more. Few days ago I put this on at 12 at noon, I put it on my inner part of mt lips after I had vaseline on, then top it off with Revlon clear gloss, had lunch, went out for some drinks, got home at 2 am, I still could see it on my lips. It’s more of stain rather than a tint.

I’m have benetint and the body shop version which I got for its travel friendly packaging. I wondered into The Face Shop on a whim and thought I would try this as I finished up my body shop one. I absolutely prefer this over both the benetint & TBS one. I got the dark cherry and the colour stains my lips in a deep dark red, much more pigmented than the other 2. I will be going back to get the other colours and will definitely repurchase this one!

I bought this after reading a review on here comparing this to the benetint. I haven’t tried the benetint, so I don’t know how this compares to it. I have tried the one from Tony Moly(i think it was apple flavoured) which has a similar colour and i think it was a little bit cheaper than this. I got this for around $8(i think) at pacific mall in Toronto after trying all of the lip tints I could get my hand on(don’t bother with holika holika’s lip tint! they made my lips kinda numb)
Dislikes:
-not long lasting AT ALL
-only 2 colour choices
-i don’t enjoy the taste, it has a hint of cherry, but it just tastes bitter imo like it’s full of harmful chemicals or smth.
-it’s drying, even after putting lip balm on(which wears off after a while), my lips felt noticeably dryer

-it’s more moisturizing than tony moly’s, but still drying
-good bang for yo buck?(if this is in fact comparable to higher end brands)
and so my venture into the search for my HG lip tint continues….

I LOVE THIS TINT!
I haven’t tried Benetint before but SOOO many people have been comparing it to this tint, which makes me love this tint even more considering it’s SUPER CHEAP.
I initially bought this product when it was on sale, I think it was because they were going to change the packaging of this product.
I’m not a big fan of the face shop, I prefer innisfree and etude house so I wasn’t really expecting much from this tint.
But when I applied it on my lips, it absorbed right away! Almost like dying my lips, it was soo long-lasting.
i have this in #1 Enamel Red.
It’s water-resistant and the colour is so pretty..
the only downside is that if you want to use this as a cheek tint, you’ll have to use much more compared to using this on your lips, it’s not a lot anyways so it probably isn’t much of a big deal.
I also really like the scent of this, it’s a light sweet, fruity scent.
Overall, 5 LIPPIES!

I wear blush everyday by applying a tint and then lightly setting it with a powder blush. I like makeup to last ALL DAY once applied in the morning and this does just that! Even after riding to and back from work. I use to use Benefit’s Benetint however, I find that The Face Shops’ tints by comparison are;
– cheaper
– just as long lasting (if not more so)
– easier to blend
– more natural in colour
– subtle enough to be worn on the lips
I have both colours and hope they don’t discontinue this line. Maybe I should stock up?

I’m a huuugee fan of face tints because they have GREAT lasting power compared to the conventional powder blushes. I’ve tried so many face tints and none of them comes close to this, not even Benetint (way too overpriced IMHO). i find myself always coming back to this tint and was so sad when i thought it was discontinued. But then a few months later they changed the packaging and it was back on the shelves again! Bought a few backups just in case 🙂 And the reason i can afford backups was because it is dirt cheap. Got them on a sale for about 3USD.. Best bargain ever. 😀
