I have the shade Rhubarb. This color reminds me of CT Pillow Talk! It isnt as scary as the tube looks and applies very natural. It smoothes my lips and plump them while making them look really juicy and plush. I love how the applicator opening is huge and i can squeeze out a good amount. I dont have to squeeze so hard for products to come out(problems with squeezy tubes) downside to that is you have to be careful not to put too much pressure. the color is a midtone neutral pink towards a red pink but it does not show up as dark as the tube. it adds a hint of color and healthiness to the lips. gives it a watery glass like look to them which i love. When it fades it leaves a nice stain as well. the formula is outstanding, smells like chocolates. i do not like the smell of lanolin and these dont smell bad. It nourishes while being thin and not thick or goopey. I dont need to reapply as much as other lip treatments ive had in the past. this is by far my favorite tinted lip balm on the market.
i like to top this off with a high shine gloss, this formula goes well under other lip products so i do love that. Will def repurchase! I am curious of how the Nude would look but Rhubarb is so cute!

I have been dying to try this stuff for ages, and am very glad Ulta now carries the brand. I have this in Perfect Nude and there was a deal on where I got a free full size of the Banana 3-in-1 Balm, so score. Lanolin is the shit. It just is. Like many others, I discovered its full power after having my daughter and was gifted Lansinoh nipple balm, which is pure lanolin. I always have a tube of that stuff in my life but it comes with some caveats: it’s basically a solid, and it is very clearly a nipple cream you are applying to your lips. LanoLips has lanolin as the first ingredient, so it still has its formidable healing properties, but it’s cut with some other stuff that makes it less of a PITA to apply. (ingredients list is below)
I just love it. I have chapped lips and everything makes them worse. There are some balms I still use and love, but lanolin is honestly the only thing that LEGIT keeps my lips healthy. This balm is tinted, and it’s thick and opaque, but you can’t use a lot so once it’s on the lips, the tint is slight. The best thing about it (and lanolin based balms in general) is that it plumps lips without weird tingly “plumping” ingredients, and leaves them dewy. There’s no other way to put it: lips look luscious and full and lightly glossed, with a smooth texture. It’s addictive, and there is nothing else like it. Seriously. If you have chronically chapped lips, please try lanolin or a lanolin based balm! Side note, the banana balm is so great, too. Deeeelicious. Perfect for makeouts. Both are worth the dollars. Full marks. I am very happy.

So I have the worst chapped lips you can imagine, scaling peeling hard and bleeding. I have to fight to keep hydration in my lips. So I read a review here on makeupalley on this product by chance it was listed. I recall seeing the testers at ulta and so I went back to ulta and tried the tinted colors. I liked Nude but they were out and so the other color that was available was Rhubarb. This color is a perfect soft rose pink with a deep lilac base that looks like an improved lip color tint of my own lips. The pigment is the perfect opacity and is not overly pigmented (easily blends to sheer) and can be used as a base or top coat for lipsticks seamlessly. The product itself is like a thick salve in a tube and it only requires a gentle firm push to get the product to come out of the applicator. The smoothness of the lip balm is heavenly and long lasting. Not sticky, no real smell nor taste. It stays put but it does transfer to drink cups however retains staying mostly on the lips. This adds a perfect lush moist color layer to my (nc – 20) lips without it being greasy slippery or plastic feeling. This was the best 14 dollars on a tube of lip balm I have ever bought. I really like how unique this is compared to most other products in the US. This product comes from Australia and I read there are even spf 30 versions of this. I cannot wait to buy some of the others.! Thank you Lanolips. You have have saved my lips!

Hated this – I had it in “Rhubarb”. It goes on unevenly, not something you can apply without a mirror. Easily smudges out of your lip line. Would be better with a doe foot applicator. It dried out my lips!

Great product. When I wear balm/gloss I want something that actually moisturises, adds a tint of colour to define my lips, stays on (I only want to have to reapply about every 4 hours), and isn’t sticky. This is it!!
I had sore cracked lips and this has fixed them. It stays on most of the day and has a slight colour so it doesn’t just look like shiny gloss.
Also Lanolips against animal testing.
It was $$ but I got is 40% off at priceline – I’m sure I’ll be able to pick it up on sale when I need to restock.

I have tried nearly every product out there for lips I’m addicted to balms lipsticks and glosses and always buy the latest new thing as I’m always searching for that perfect product and lanolips is it I can solemnly swear ill never purchase another brand of lipstick or gloss/balm this does it all, it adds just the right amount of colour I use the apples one and its so moisturising beautifully pigmented gives lips a gorgeous pout and it has staying power without being sticky or tacky. Some people complain that the packaging is bad with the flat nozzle and say they want a slanted tip to apply it but it really doesn’t matter! I will 100% be buying these for the rest of my days!!

Have this in Mulberry! I love the plummish red colour and the big bonus is that it actually moisturises my lip quite well. However, the colours are very sheer so do not be fooled by the intensity in the tube. It will take me forever to finish product, however I realize with one yr of use the smell seem to have changed, maybe it’s the lanolin? But it works fine with no complaints so I’ll continue using it till the very drop.
Also I would like to add that the opening of the tube is not that convienient, I usually squeeze a dollop onto my hands and apply it from there to my lips. Great product and will definitely repurchase. Because of the conversion from AUD to MYR, I find the product a little pricey here, i paid close to 50 for this.

I love these so much. If you are ever in Australia, track these babies down. My lips are often dry and chapped so these are just heavenly when I want some colour AND a lovely boost of moisture. I have Rhubarb, Rose and Apples. Rhubarb is my favourite. It’s a medium pink and kind of looks MLBB on me. Fantastic. Rose is a light shell pink and is great when you want just a hint of colour. Apples is red and is terrific for a “just bitten” rosy look. None of the shades contain shimmer. All of these shades are exactly the same consistency – a rather thick balm – but it melts somewhat with the warmth of your finger/lips. I’d like to stress that these are NOT sticky. They are just smooth and glossy. Feels luxurious on. You get quite a lot in a tube – 12.5 ml. I only use a tiny pea size amount each time and so my tubes last forever. I love the gold lid – adds a nice touch of class, I think. I would repurchase these a million times over. I keep hoping more shades will come out!

I bought this product in “Rhubarb”, a bright medium pink. It is a fairly neutral colour, neither warm nor cool. I like it that the ointment is moisturizing and pigmented; it is thick and some people complain about having to warm it up because of how stiff it is, but I think if the ointment were any thinner, it would not be as effective a moisturizer (for me, anyway). I think this product can be improved by the addition of a slant applicator. I will definitely buy this again.
Edit: there is a faint burning plastic smell to this ointment, but fortunately it fades quickly after you apply it. The burning plastic smell is actually the smell of lanolin. You might think that lanolin smells like sheep, but it actually smells a bit plasticky. Nars lipglosses also smell like this. I think this product would be greatly improved by the addition of a scent-masking agent; even if a non-lanolin scent were added, like vanilla for example, it would be more pleasant to use.

I bought this at the same time as a plain 100% lanolin ointment and between the 2 of them I’ve never had softer lips. Every year for as long as I can remember I’ve had awful peeling and split lips in winter.
This balm is non greasy and feels light on my lips. I have rhubarb and while it looks quite intense in the tube it goes on very sheer, its a lovely pink with a glossy like finish. The staying power is pretty good for a balm, but it does need re-applying regularly.
The price seems pretty steep at just over £8 GBP but you only need the teeniest amount (as it is so thick) so its not so bad. Also the packaging is cute but there is no applicator, I don’t find it an issue as I put a bit on my finger and rub it in instead of applying straight from the tube but I can see why some people wouldn’t like it.
Overall I really like the balm, enough that I have bough it in three of the other colours, and I’m really pleased with how my lips look and feel when I use it.
