I am NW20 in MAC foundation and I love cool-toned pink lips – the specific kind of pink with blue undertones, so I picked up the Fresh Petal shade.
The formula is not thick and sticky and glides on very nicely, however, the color of pretty muted. I wouldn’t wear this alone, but over another lipstick, looks pretty good over a nude lipstick, actually – helps to make the nude lean more pink – I love mixing lippies!
There is a slight plumping effect and a gentle tingle when applying this product.
I will certainly use up the tube I have, but I will not re- purchase.

Literally the worst plumping creme ever. Dries out my lips and doesn’t apply evenly, creates a weird gooey line on the edge. Barely pigmented, extremely sheer. When I apply this, there’s barely even a difference whatsoever in the size of my lips. Sooo disappointed

Pros: Neutral colors, muted shades. Even the dark shades are not dark (this is a pro for me, but may be a con for you).
Cons: The formula is somewhere between a cream lipstick and a lip gloss, but it’s too creamy and moist to work effectively. It leaves movement lines on my lips, while also accentuating texture and making my lips look globby. The applicator tip does not spread product evenly and does not smooth out lines – I have to use my finger. It’s like the product doesn’t know what it’s supposed to be, as it’s not tacky like a gloss but it’s too creamy and slippery to be a lipstick.
Conclusion: The colors are beautiful, but the finish is lackluster. I don’t think other people would be as critical of my lips as I am, especially since these colors are muted and not bright, so it could be easy to not be drawn to the texture. I bought these at $2.50 a piece on clearance, but had I paid full price, I’d be returning them. I’ll probably use these at home, on days where it doesn’t really matter if my lips look fantastic, but I definitely wouldn’t repurchase. I would not recommend anyone buy these at full price.
Update: I’ve returned these. I felt unsure about keeping them while I was writing the review, and decided that I don’t want to keep products in my collection that I can’t wear to work or in public because they perform poorly. It’s just not worth it, even though they were cheap on clearance. I’d much rather have a product that makes me feel happy.

I’m not a lipgloss person – I don’t know what it is about my lip shape, but it takes a lot of effort and tactical use of lipliners and lipstains to get ultra shiny lip products to look alright on me. Plus, I’ve got fine hair, if someone even breathes in my direction with too much force my hair flies everywhere and will just end up stuck on sticky lips. Let’s not talk about if I go outside and it’s windy.
Anyway, I received this as a promotional free gift on an online order, one of those “spend over x and get this thing too” offers that companies use to 1. entice you in with free stuff and 2. shift stock of products that aren’t selling. I wasn’t expecting much from it at all, and while it’s not amazing or anything, it did at least leave me pleasantly surprised. Does it actually plump up lips? Not on me. It has menthol or something similar in it that makes it tingle when you first apply, and theoretically it causes delicate lip skin to become irritated and slightly swollen, and its star ingredient “Volulip” (a plant extract and a few peptides) is intended to be used daily and show results over time. I don’t know that much about it so who knows if it actually works or not.
That aside, when worn there’s this optical illusion of very, very, VERY slightly fuller lips like with most lip glosses. The combination of the sheer colour,jelly-ish finish and toned-down shine mean that it’s the first lipgloss that looks OK on me without needing to use another lip product. I got cashmere cream, which is a nice peachy nude that suits my fair skin and as it’s very sheer, doesn’t look starkly pale. It’s quite nice to use for a YT style “smoky eyes and nude lip” look, without having to use a matte lipstick. It is still sticky though. so it’s never going to be a favourite of mine. And it’s not exactly long lasting – eat anything and boom, it’s vanished. At least it’s forgiving enough to reapply without any effort.
If you want a gloss that stays super glossy, has more pigmentation, and applies easily over lipstick – this isn’t for you. And don’t buy it if you’re looking for a lip plumping product that works. But for an easy, wearable, non-matte nude lip colour, you could do far
worse than this one from Revlon. I can’t see myself running out of this any time soon as I still prefer matte finishes in general, but I’d probably buy it again if I lost the one I have now.

Since Revlon calls these a lip creme, markets them as a lip creme-“cushiony soft formula with a creamy shine finish”, according to their website-I would expect a creamier product. But what I got was a very thin gloss. I bought two, Almond Suede and Velvet Mink. They could have been pretty colors, but the pigment you see as you start applying it doesn’t really translate to much of anything as you distribute it over your lips. I guess if you wanted a very thick, gloppy layer on your lips, you would get more color. Anyhow, as I said, it is a very thin gloss. I wasn’t looking for a true lip gloss, as that is not what they are marketing it as. The wear time is very poor, even for a gloss, due to the thinness of it. It’s not the worst lip product I have ever tried, but I would never waste my money on it again. I will use them for quick trips to the store, and other times when I don’t need something that has to stay on very long. Or when I just want a natural look. Oh, and as far as the plumping, I didn’t have any expectations for that to be true, so I wasn’t disappointed when it didn’t have any plumping effect.

The plumping claim pulled me in (even though I should know better). While these don’t plump any more than your average gloss or liquid lip, I was pleasantly surprised. I picked up Barely Blush (MLBB) & Almond Suede (a brownish pink).
The color is opaque, but with a high shine. They’re very glossy, but not at all sticky or heavy.
It has a lot of slip, almost too much (more working with a liquid than a creme), and application can get messy. The slanted plastic applicator isn’t useful at all, the tip of the finger works better at evening it out.
There is a slight cooling sensation upon application, but any plumping effect really comes from the glossiness of the product, IMO. These remind me a bit of NYX Butter glosses, only more slick. These feel like they might have moisturizing effect.
There is not much lasting power though; with all that slip, it kind of slips right off. That doesn’t bother me too much as I’m a frequent applier of any lip product I happen to be wearing.

So I purchased these with pretty high expectations based on the photos I saw of Gwen Stefani. I purchased cashmere creme (a light creamy beige), Apricot silk (a pretty peach), and fresh petal. I feel that pigmentation varies from shade to shade. The apricot silk shade had a very nice opaque texture, whereas the fresh petal was very sheer and the cashmere creme was basically completely transparent. I liked the look that apricot silk gave to my lips (not too shiny, not to matte, no sparkle) as well as the extra bit of fullness I received from wearing this. I would have liked the other two shades I purchased if they had some pigmentation to them, but they were too sheer for my liking. I would like to try a few darker shades as they appear that they may have some more pigmentation, that being said, I am not impressed with the staying power of these lip cremes. I feel that for the price that Revlon sets these lip products at, they can do a lot better.

This is a nice lip creme/ lip gloss product. It feels comfortable on the lips. Not sticky or heavy.
That being said it is not a long wearing product and does not state to be so please do not expect that from this type of product. It wears just like a regular gloss, not a long-wearing lipstick. There is a very light scent that is sweet and minty but you can barely smell it. It also leaves a nice cooling sensation to the lips but not painful or very tingly. As for plumping, I did not notice any. Lipgloss in general due to the shine tends to give your lips a fuller look but other than that I did not notice any plumping from this product at all.
What I like about it is that you can build up the color. With a light layer, you have a sheer wash of color and you can easily deepen it up by adding some more product.
I have worn these with and without a lip liner and it worked well both ways.
I really like this product for everyday use it is simple, quick, and I am ready to go. Great to toss in the bag for easy touchups or when you need to get ready on the go with no fuss.
Personally, I used to only wear lip liner with a gloss so this is right up my alley. The fact that it already has enough pigment on its own is great to me. It does not last very long but that is okay with me as I much prefer the way a gloss wears off than lipstick looking a hot mess. If and when I need a long-wearing lipstick, which I don’t for every day, then that’s what I will pick up but for now, this is working for me. The only thing I do not care for is the price. Not too expensive but I really do not want to pay more than $6-7 for a product like this.
The shade, Rich Bordeaux, is a lovely deep Bordeaux color leaning more to the purplish side. It is a deep chocolaty wine shade. The tube was a very dark almost blackberry in color but don’t be alarmed it is very wearable. A light layer and it will be a sheer wash of color but you can deepen it up with another layer or two. ( I have been wearing this over Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain – Adore.)
Due to the formulation being a creamy pigment suspended in a gloss the deep or very light creamy shades can be a little streaky if you do not apply and blend it evenly across the lips. However, it is such an easy fix with the slanted applicator tip. Don’t just glob it on, use the flat tip to help blend it across nice and smooth.
Velvet mink – was a brownish pink shade with a bit of purple. It is a very wearable shade. I like this one for everyday wear.
Almond suede – was more of a pinky brown nude and did not show up on my lips it looked like I only applied a chapstick. There was also not much of a shine with this one but again that could have been because it was too similar to my natural lip color. My sister is lighter than me so I got this shade for her and think it will show up and work out much better for her skin tone.

This was an impulse buy just because it was new and it sounded interesting, but it’s a big fail for me.
I even quickly searched for reviews on my phone before buying and read Temptalia’s, who seemed to like them… not sure why?
I got the shade Fresh Petal, a pastel baby pink that looked nice in the tube but on my lips it was a different story…
First of all, it applies patchy, uneven, the applicator is just plastic so it doesn’t distribute the product evenly and smoothly. I have to smoosh my lips together a few times to achieve a nicer result, but then it migrates outside my lip line.
Temptalia said it was glossy and I guess it is, but not that glossy and the gloss fades quickly. The color doesn’t stay true to the tube, it becomes very nude and has no oomph whatsoever.
Even after you make it look decent enough, if you talk or heaven forbid drink. the formula becomes uneven again and bleeds.
It’s a total fail for me, I won’t even bother to use it again. Waste of $13 CAD…
