“Wine Down” Hydra Matte liquid lipstick. I’m thankful I had a 50% off coupon for this because it was definitely not worth the $20 price tag. I’d followed the company for some time and loved this color they kept posting. I decided to order and see for myself. Shipping was very slow – a week to come from CA. The product smelled great and packaged beautifully (even the shipping box) but those were probably the best parts of it. Consistency was thin and watery. I had to use three layers to try and get a good coverage. Left my lips feeling incredibly dry and gritty. I was self conscious all day that my lips looked dry and the color patchy. Even after three coats, the color was nowhere close to how it was portrayed on the Gram. I was left feeling very disappointed. The function to leave a review on their website is not working and I really didn’t want to blast them on their Instagram page. I’ve worn this twice but probably won’t wear it ever again. 🙁

Okay so, having been a cheap(ish) find on beautybay I wasn’t really expecting much from this, perhaps something primark-y with the brush etc. but OH BOY WAS I WRONG. The formula, brush, scent.. everything about this lipstick reminds me of the lime crime velevetines and honestly, what a buy! It is an exact dupe for the velvetines and honestly if I used this lipstick without a label I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference! The packaging was insane and honestly for the money it is 10/10 and a must have! I’m so impressed, the size is not as big as jeffree star etc. BUT the lime crime ones are what.. £5/6 more and the size on them is the exact same! Honestly I’m astonished by this and if you haven’t already PLEASE try one of these lipsticks, the packaging and everything was just insaane X

I honestly can say that I am so incredibly in love with his brand. That may sound like an exaggeration, but it’s true! I’m a huge liquid lipstick junkie so of course I have 4 lipsticks so far. The packaging is cute with a matte tube and a shiny, gold cap. There’s a slight vanilla scent, but it’s not overwhelming enough to make you nauseated. The pigmentation is great, and you can layer these liquid lipsticks and still feel comfortable. Not drying at all and actually last a very long time m, even after eating greasy food-depending how you eat of course (I.e avoid the lips etc.) the staff is very very helpful, and he’s back to you via email within the same day, if not the same hour! I had a little issue and the staff was extremely helpful and patient with my pain in the butt self. I definitely will be getting more of these soon!

I was extremely excited about my purchase from this company, and I shouldn’t have been. Almost everything I bought disappointed me.
First I bought two liquid lipsticks in ruby slipper and 1995. Ruby slipper was so patchy that almost as soon as I started applying it, I began removing it. it was think and clumpy like you wouldn’t believe. 1995 went on nicely but it was sticky and completely uncomfortable, and showed every single line in my lips. I took it off not 5 minutes after applying it. Now, my mom has iced mocha and raves about it. I’m thinking maybe different colors have different consistencies.. so choose wisely, maybe you’ll get lucky.
I bought the setting spray in lavender and it really does work well, except it burns like HELLLLL and my entire body smells like lavender for the rest of the day. Not too many complaints about that though.
And the regular lipstick. Ugh. I can’t even. since I wrote a separate review on these, I’ll make it short and sweet: smells like plastic, not opaque at all, and not worth all the money you pay for it.
And the lip gloss. I bought sugar mama, and it doesn’t look anything like it did on the swatch from the website. It was so sticky that I couldn’t get it to go on my lips. I was literally dragging it across and almost ripped my lip off (not really.. but possible). The only thing I LOOOOVE is the packaging with the light and the mirror. Super cool.
Over all, maybe their lip products aren’t so good. So I would probably try their highlighters and face products but I refuse to spend any more money on their lip stuff. xoxo

I have had THE worst experience with them regarding their shipping and customer service. I will never order from them again ever in life no matter HOW many YouTube beauty gurus rave about their products. I live in Canada and have been given the run around regarding how long my package will take and I cant even get a valid tracking number a week after it has supposedly shipped. And anyone I ask only copies and pastes their responses from theirs and fedex’s websites – as if I havent ALREADY read this information. I’m almost ready to just kiss my $26 goodbye because no one is willing to help me out with locating my package. I order from the US all the time – most recently from Sacha cosmetics and received my package within 5 days – yet Gerard is telling me that it is going to take up to 4 weeks despite their website saying it can take 2-3 weeks. Also, no phone number to reach them – only email. Buyer beware – especially if you live outside of the US
EDIT/UPDATE: I just decided to cancel my order altogether. I can only imagine the headache I’m going to have getting my money back but no matter what I WILL get my money back from this company. Absolutely HORRIBLE.
