I got the orange moodmatcher lip balm in a beauty box. Never thought I’d like it so much! It ends up a medium pink color on my lips, a little bright, but fine for the office. It’s lightweight and moisturizing. The color lasts for hours and fades evenly. I love it as a lip stain and keep it at my desk at work. I’m planning to buy a few more to keep in my purse and at home.

My favourite lipsticks! My lips tend to dry out when using lipstick but these work for me. These Twist Sticks are much nicer than the normal Moodmatcher lipsticks. Easy to apply, moisturising, better looking packaging. I’ve got the orange one (coral), red and green (fuchsia). Orange is the easiest for low maintenance lipstick which I wear most often during work hours. These lipsticks are very long lasting, often I’ve still got some colour on after a nights sleep.

I got the Mood Matcher in green in my Fab Bag (beauty box service in India) for August and I was so disappointed. For starters, I don’t think I would ever be brave enough to pull this out in a public area – the colour of the lipstick is an acid green that screams tween. The colour was nice enough (it’s a rosy pink) but the odour was another story entirely. I had to wipe it off twenty minutes after application since it was giving me a migraine. The packaging was also quite cheap looking – it looked like something straight out of my mother’s bargain beauty box from the 90s. In a word – ugh.
The full size retails for Rs 590 in India but do your olfactory system a favour and steer clear. Would I buy it again? No.

I really liked these chubby lip pencils! The three shades I have are all very pretty pink-toned shades that are easy to wear on a lot of skintones. I personally love the Hot Fuchsia shade the most (the one that looks green in the tube), but I’ve had all three in my purse as some point.
They feel weightless on your lips and moisturizing. I know the lip swatches compared next to each other look similar, but I think it’s easier to tell in person the difference between the three shades. I also didn’t heavily swatch them because they are so long-lasting that it was hard to remove them between swatches! But that’s a great thing for everyday use because the color really does last and last — you may want to use a clear lip balm throughout the day if you feel the need to, but they stain your lips for a long time (as they say, 12 hours).
If you like the concept of lip products that instantly reacts with your lips to create a one-of-a-kind hue, then you’ve got to check out the MoodMatcher line of lip products. As I mentioned at the start of this post, I plan to do a review on the MoodMatcher lipsticks soon!
