This was “gifted” to me by my twin sister, who fortunately for me, has more makeup than she knows what to do with. It’s a good thing I got it for free because while it does have some positive points, I wouldn’t want to spend my own money on it.
I’m not shy about color, but this truly hot pink is just too unabashedly girly-girl for me. I think the name “Bachelorette” is perfect, because it is a real girl party in a bottle, honey. The red tone in the picture is definitely not what I ended up with.
The color does last all day, and I was impressed with its moisture delivery. I have super dry lips, and while this wasn’t the most hydrating lip color I’ve tried, it was certainly better than most.
I would definitely apply this with a brush. I find the formula to be wet and a little goopy, so if you simply use the applicator, you end up with a bit of a mess. The slickness means a lot of shine at first, but it mattifies throughout the day.
In conclusion, if hot pink is your thing and you have the patience to apply with great precision, this could be the purchase for you. Me, however, I’m moving on.
At 19 bucks/3.5ml ($4.75 for 24 oz), it has a decent price point, but does bring it to $12.99. So if you want a fussy dollar a gallon, but want to get into any kind of country lipstick before you give it a go, then buy this and you will come away with some bubbly lip colors.

This is such a fun colour! It is much more vibrant and pigmented on me than in the photo. A bit darker too. Maybe because I’m slightly paler or else the pic is inaccurste. The colour stays bright all day (or night) too which is amazing.
For all colours in general, the Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick is amazing! It does not dry out your lips, it lasts a long time, and is very pigmented. Worth the price.

Really awesome liquid lipstick. The staying power is unreal – doesn’t budge and doesn’t transfer. It dries down pretty quickly and somewhat hard to remove so make sure you outline your lips to help ensure you don’t get product outside of your lip line. Also, it’s a pretty close dupe for the Koko x Kylie Cosmetics Okurrrr liquid lipstick – just saying!

The color in the picture is a bit different on me because my skin is very yellow but I have a lot of blue in my lips naturally. (About NC25).
I just bought this at Sephora on a whim. The formula is very moisturizing yet has staying power through the day. I will say it’s not as long lasting as other high end stains, but I actually like having to reapply because it means it’s more moisturizing than most other lip stains. I like that there seems to be less pigment too because I’m the type of person that likes to dot this on my lips and smear around with my finger for that “just ate a popsicle” look. The formula spreads very nicely, quite like a balm, and finishes beautifully.
It’s a great statement color that would look great on a variety of skin tones and love that Kat Von D is cruelty free.

I received this as a “sample” when I purchased a bunch of makeup from Sephora last year and just got around to being brave enough to wear it to work. I love the color, it’s really brightand even looked pretty good on my pale skin. The staying power however, kinda not the best. I read somewhere that you should put it on and let it dry and it would stay really good. So, that’s what I did. put it on this morning in the car, and let it dry. throughout the morning thru breakfast and drinking coffee w/ a straw-it came off on everything; my breakfast sandwich, my straw, my fingers-all over. so, I decided not to re-apply and just leave what was there alone. and by lunch time it was still coming off-onto my sandwich and napkin.
Did I apply it wrong? should I have applied it then wiped it off to work better? I def did not apply too much-just enough so it was and even layer on my lips this morning. or did I just wait too long to use it? and maybe it expired?
anyway, long story short…not a huge fan of the product.

Amazing product! First off, this is a gorgeous color. Sort of a pinkish red and it lasts forever! Red is a tricky color to pull off since right when you eat something it smudges and gives you a clown look. Well the best part about this lipstick is after a while, it only comes off from the inner parts of your lips which is an easy touch up. Since it’s a stain, it can be drying but a swipe of Chapstick beforehand can fix that.

I received a sample of this from Sephora and while I have not worn it on my lips yet, I swatched it and was blown away by the staying power. I could not get it off of the back of my hand without using a makeup remover. It was truly remarkable! I scrubbed it with soap and water and it still left a stain behind. I do not think I am too fond of the color but I might pick this product in a different shade.

It is hard to get a longer-lasting lip product to be shiny and comfortable (not paint-like). This one is pretty close to ideal.
