I don’t remember how I stumbled onto this but I’m so Make-up Happy that I did. The Packaging alone makes you want to buy it. You can tell it is expensively made, it’s in a Clear Tube with a Sparkly Twist off. I had to look up the product because I wasn’t sure if it was a Lipgloss or Liquid Eyeshadow. Description says it is a Lip Topper which it Looks Amazing just worn by itself. I have the Color in Acid Fairy. The texture is just perfect and not at all Sticky and has Staying Power. It delivers Prisms of High Shine and the more you coat, the better payoff you get. This Gloss is not for Everyone because your lips are the Star of the Show making a very bold Statement. I want every color but they are on the Pricey side so I would just Expore with one and When this one runs out, then I will purchase another. A++++ Across the board!

Well I’m kinda crazy about lipstick, etc, so had to try this brand of course, a few years ago. I have about 20 or so Velvetines and lipsticks by Lime Crime (lipsticks have super cute flowery packaging on the tube) but The Diamond Crushers knock me out!
My latest favorites are Gemini, Lit, Cleopatra and Lana. I have Trip and it’s too blue purple for me Choke is a lot like Lit. I’ve had that one longer and I guess I didn’t close it well enough so Choke dried out. Gemini, which is also bluish/purple(as Trip is also purple) dries down to a better, different shade on me. Lana is a nice bronze shade. I mix up everything, all colors for different looks. Lit is very smooth and I do use my finger to smooth around the color.
Cleopatra is pretty glittery and dries fast so moving it around on your lips and using sparingly helps. It looks awesome. Got to be careful the glitter stays on your lips before it dries.
The best thing for me is the staying power, it lasts and lasts even though eating. It may be drying for some people but for me the trade off for staying power is worth it. I LOVE THIS STUFF !

I really like this stuff…A friend recommended this brand (I had never heard of it) and I ordered one of the diamond crushers since the pictures looked so beautiful. At first, I wasn’t sure about it, I had to learn the right technique for putting it on….you can’t just slather it on like a gloss. I lightly applied it all over and then once again, and it looked beautiful…I purchased the color “Lit”. and it LASTS, I put it on at 7AM and by noon, I could still see it, and this is after several cups of coffee and water 🙂 I just purchased three more colors..

I like this despite its many drawbacks but I doubt I would repurchase.
I like it because it definitely packs a glitter punch.
But
It’s very patchy. Drying. Separates in the tube. Smells like earwax (!!)
The staying power isn’t great but because it’s glitter, which as we all know is infamous for lingering way beyond its use or application, it doesn’t completely fade.
I’ve got a hot pink shade and it looks decent over most red and pink shades as well as bare lips. I’ll use it up but the search for a fantastic glitter gloss continues.

I got a mini size of Pink Pearl, whose color is described as “pink/white shift.”
That translates to pale/icy pink BLIIING!
Really, Pink Pearl packs some serious wattage. That’s great, if that’s your thing. I do like some sparkle occasionally, but I have difficulty getting Pink Pearl distributed evenly on my lips, even though I keep them moisturized and exfoliated.
I don’t dare swipe Pink Pearl on; that might be risking blindness. Instead, I first apply lipstick (WnW Cherry Picking in the photos), then gloss (Kiko Hydragloss), then dabs of Pink Pearl. I immediately spread the latter with a pinky finger. This works fairly well, but I still tend to end up with clumps of glitter here and there on my lips.
Pink Pearl is pretty and fun, but it requires quite a bit of effort. I *might* buy this again, but more likely I’ll try to find a similar color in another shimmery gloss.

The unicorn/mermaid theme is not gone (yet). Many of us are still obsessed with everything that has hints of glitter, duochrome or holographic.
Urban Decay has brought us some duochromatic lip toppers as well. I love them but here is why I prefer the Lime Crime’s Diamond Crushers.
First of all, you need to love the shades. Each shade is unique and an eyecatcher. I dare to say you can wear the subtle ones to school, office or while shopping. Just anywhere! (You only live once, ok?)
Urban Decay brought us some awesome shades, too (White Lie, Fever, Redverb, 3rd Degree), yet some don’t impress me so much.
Almost every color from the DC has a beautiful duochromatic shift. I can’t stop looking at it when it’s on my lips.
Currently I have all of them, except:
Gemini (I do not like this shade, sorry.),
L.A. (Not spectacular enough.),
Cheap Thrill (Gonna purchase that when there’s enough $$ on my bank account.),
Meadow (Green ain’t a thing for my face.) and
Unicorn Queen (Looks amazing but would I wear this? Probably not.).
My favorite shades are:
Over the Rainbow (perfect beautiful nudish lip topper)
Lit (rose gold is always a winner)
Acid Fairy (no words to describe) and
Trip (unique color shifting -> unicorn vibes).
Of course I love all the other shades as well. Yet my favorite ones make my heart go boom boom.
They dry like a liquid lipstick but are not sticky or too drying, in fact you can loose some tiny amounts of glitter anyway (but what else do you expect from glitters).
Lime Crime warns you: Do not use them on your eyes, in case you didn’t read that somewhere.
But don’t be shy, use them as highlighter or anywhere on your face (except eyes).
Please don’t give this products a bad review because your lips got irritated or you don’t like the shades. YouTube and Google are your friends.
Check the ingredients on the website of Lime Crime. Buy them at a online shop which accepts returns of used products. No one forces you to buy them. Stay safe. And enjoy.

Purchased the shade Cleopatra. It is a rose-gold glitter lip topping, absolutely beautiful on lips for special occasions and eyes for the evening.
First off, the packaging for the Diamond Crushers is MUCH more luxurious and exciting to me than the Velveteen liquid lipstick. The clear glass vial has wieght in the hand and the lid is textured pink metal. The doe foot is soft. I love it, the other lipsticks packaging is just tacky.
As for the formula, it’s staying power sucks. Absolutely not staying put after the dry down, shedding glitter everywhere. Setting spray helps with the eyes, but not the lips.
I was disappointed in the size of the glitter flakes, hoping they would be more elegant and smaller, but they are not huge.
Once again, I don’t know if I think this brand lives up to the hype, but much more satisfied with this than the matte liquids. I can see myself using this product much more.

This product had the potential to really excite me and give me more options to create new lip looks. I found the formula to be too “wet” and not pigmented enough. It applies too patchy for my liking as well. My more detailed review video is below.

Lime Crime Diamond Crushers are my favourite makeup product of all time.
I have Diamond Crushers in Dope and Acid Fairy. They dry quickly, stay on for 12+ hours and don’t have a sticky texture or dry your lips out.
Even though it’s supposed to be a lip topper I wear it on my bare lips sometimes, and it looks fabulous! It is ridiculously shimmery and pigmented. This product is not for a day look, trust me.
Sometimes I’ll apply a little to my cheekbones for an extra pop of shimmer. And the best part is, this product smells like candy and bubblegum, and the smell is noticeable and doesn’t go away all day!
10/10, and would recommend to anyone!

I really don’t like the velvetines because they don’t work for me, but when I saw the diamond crusher I really wanted to try them. I like this product, especially because you can use it also on the eyes (it’s where I use it the most). I have lit, which seemed like the most versatile one. Overall I don’t know if I would buy it again, because it’s quite expensive and I don’t really wear glitter that much (I was in full festive mood when I bought it!).
