I love these matte lipsticks! I bought Almond Rose. It’s a perfect non boring everyday pink shade. It’s bright without being too bright. I love the quality. The case is substantial and the consistency is opaque and creamy. An inexpensive fashion forward neutral!

I was eyeing this shade for a couple weeks, even though I already have 655 Daringly Nude, and 660 Touch of Spice. Nude Nuance is different enough from the other shades to warrant a purchase and just a few dollars why not. Nude Nuance is a pinky brown, with more brown than pink. The other two shade are more pink than brown, I’d say Touch of Spice and Daringly Nude are sisters, while Nude Nuance is the cousin. Like the other Color Sensation mattes these are well pigmented, and surprisingly not too drying. They do tend to pill/flake after a while but they are comfortable to wear. Nude Nuance is a medium brown shade, nothing too dark or vampy.

I have already purchased 657 and another Mauve color. I love the matte texture and its not drying like they other application methods for mattes. I like that the sticker on the bottom is nearly the color of the lipstick so I can organize these on may vanity. I will probably stock up next time Walgreens or ulta has a sale. Love it!

This is my ultimate lipstick for any day of the week. And amazingly cheap lipstick that just makes me look so awesome and cool! I wear this shade anywhere, to dinners, to work, or even just going to the grocery.
Price: CHEAP! And usually maybelline has this habit of having frequent sales, be ready to store some of these when christmas comes by, because this one is one of the shades that always gets sold out!
Pros: The packaging is gorgeous, I always adore this packaging. Light but not very fragile, it keeps the product in tact and just looks lovely when you store it with your other lippies. I’m almost done with my tube and I only had it for a few months. The product itself glides on very nicely AND THAT PIGMENT THO? AMAZING! My lips feels so plush and looks so beautiful with this product! On certain lights it looks like a deep red-brown and then on other lights it appears to have a purple-red base witch is so so weird but so cool to me (or maybe I’m just really tired from work that my eyes are playing tricks on me). Anyway, its beautiful on medium to deep skin tones.
Cons: The smell really reminds me of play doh and modelling clays. Its not awful, and it disappears quickly anyway. I’m not very sensitive to the smell on most days but there are times when I have an head ache from work that I can’t stand the smell. But then again I’m not always sick. Also it’s a bit drying (but not as bad as a kylie lip kit or other ultra mattes), it doesn’t end up being “OH GOD I NEED A CHAPSTICK” but more of “Oh my lips are a bit dry but I don’t feel disturbed by it really its not a huge deal”. Its just as matte as any of your normal matte lipsticks in a standard tube. If I can compare how matte it is I can say t’s more matte than the matte lipsticks from Nyx.
Overall lovely product, my HG for any day. Beautiful on tanned to deep skin tones as well and your wallet will not be crying if you don’t like it!

I just love this matte browny nude lippie. It makes my teeth pearly white plus it did not dry my lips nor cause any allegies. This is a good drugstore lippie that makes me pass other expensive ones.

This color works for me!!! It’s a rich, reddish brown, matte but not drying. It’s the perfect nude for me. I would definitely buy this again.

Love the color, a reddish brown, deeply pigmented, and the matte texture looks great. Not quite as drying as some other mattes I’ve tried, but certainly not moisturizing. It does have a strong crayon smell, so that’s a little off-putting, but for the price it’s a really nice lipstick.

This lippie blew me away! The color is GORGEOUS!!! It’s a brown/red that’s neutral, you can wear it with down played makeup or formal makeup. The matte finish just makes it even more gorgeous! The wear is about 4 hours but I’d reapply this all day because I love it so much. I think anyone could rock this color, it’s just so pretty….

Got this about 3 weeks ago at Target for less than $6. Beautiful brown-pink on my lips. Opaque color, matte but comfortable and this is the best $6 I ever spent. Maybelline has been doing an excellent job in my opinion with mascaras, foundation and lipsticks. It has the chemical/plastic smell that all Maybelline lipsticks have but that never bothers me. This is a nude on my NW45 skin tone and kind of a nineties Kylie Jenner look for me too. I will certainly repurchase if I ever run out.

Just like most of the other colors in this collection, this one is fully opaque, comfortable, and richly pigmented lipstick. Depending on your skin color/undertones, this will wear nude-brown on you. The shade can be adjusted by layering over various lip liners – wine/berry lip liner and a thin layer of this lipstick gives a very nice effect. It’s also really pretty as part of an ombre lip, with a lighter nude, peach, or pink in the middle.
The typical play-do Maybelline smell/taste is still there. The transfer and longevity depends on how much color you apply.
Overall, a nice addition to any lipstick collection.
