This has been my staple lipstick/lip balm this summer. For reference, I am between NC 20 – 25 leaning more 20 and this gives you a very effortless look on hot summer days. The color is very neutral but it also gives you that very put together look.
I like using this everyday and this alternates very well with my HG MAC Cosmo.
The shade on my lips is somewhat between rose with a slight coco tinge to it. This is pretty safe color and if you are in your late thirties this is very wearable and really moisturizing on the lips.
I would def. repurchase!

Bountiful Blush is just like all the other neutral rose shades on me. The problem I have is that when the companies say ” neutral rose”, it seems like it translates to orange/ brown undertones which is awful for me. I am nw20, deep soft winter and will pull orange / brown out of any shade that has a smidge of it. So this, in all the pictures I saw, looked like a beiged dirty pink, very neutral, very pretty and soft. In the magical store lightening…it kind of looked like that to me. But when I got home, just like UD Naked lipstick and so, so many others, it just looked orange. I thought I was being over critical so I asked my husband who is useless at picking up color subtleties and even he said it looked orange (I did not prompt him at all…just asked what color do you see).
FYI – I had also read that this was a shade they use on Alyssa Milano for one of her shows. With her warmer skin tones (maybe more olive or yellow than me), I can see this working great. Just like Urban Decay Naked lipstick, on my more yellow toned friend, it looks like a gorgeous neutral pink. On me, orange. The shades I do like from the regular Chubby stick line are Voluptuous Violet & Graped Up (though this treads the line between skewing brown and staying plum).
Bottom line, if you don’t turn it orange, it can be a great neutral choice.

Bountiful Blush is an underrated, overlooked color…it’s described as a “dusty rose” and it gives my lips a natural blush but doesn’t scream “PINK LIPSTICK!” I swatched it next to Chanel’s Mademoiselle and while it’s not quite as deep as Mademoiselle, it’s a very close dupe and is more moisturizing and wearable for me. It doesn’t turn orange or brown which Mademoiselle tends to do against my skintone. The best part is, I can buy two of these for the price of ONE Mademoiselle.
