On paper great because it’s cheap and provides sufficient protection. It also doesn’t leave a white cast like the Alba moisturizing lip balm with SPF. However, the problem with this one is how flaky it leaves my lips. It looks like there’s a ton of dry skin after using it. So, I’d rather pay much more for a lip balm that actually stays on and feels/looks normal.

I really like this lipbalm for the SPF factor–and the price of around $3 can’t be beat. Unlike many other lip products with sun protection, this one doesn’t have a big white cast and feels smooth and nourishing on the lips. It’s hard to find a balm that protects from UVA and UVB so this is a nice surprise. The only caveat, for me, is that while it feels moisturizing when you first put it on, within a few hours my lips become flakey. I’m not sure why that is – maybe the zinc dries them out? But it’s not a big deal for me since otherwise I like this product and haven’t found anything better.

This is an excellent lip balm that has a subtle tint which offsets the white cast effect we experience when we use products that contain SPF. Having said that, the SPF in this lip balm provides decent level of UVA as well as UVB protection – thus providing a broad spectrum benefit. It comes in a convenient twist-up stick, so quite travel-friendly. It has very small amount of fragrance – almost negligible. Personally, I don’t like vaseline-based lip balms. This contains plant oils, waxes and butters that moisturize my lips and keep them soft and supple.I use frequently during the day. Apply it in the night before sleeping routine…in the morning find my lips very soft and supple. I also use this after exfoliating my lips and it works wonders on the lips. Awesome product…! Great beauty bargain..!! I certainly recommend this.

I LOVE this product! It’s very moisturizing, long-lasting, and feels great on my lips. I’m a lip balm junkie, and this is one of the best I’ve tried. I wear it during the day underneath some lip color and really love it. Highly recommended.

This lipbalm is so smooth and moisturizing! I had a hard time finding a good lipbalm with high SPF. All the ones i’ve tried with high SPF are too stiff, leaves a white cast, and not moisturizing. This one is very moisturizing and does not leave my lips looking white or gray. Plus it goes on smooth like a regular chapstick if not smoother. I bought mine from soap.com. I haven’t seen it at drugstores. The only bad thing about this lipbalm is that the product sort of balls up on the lips. It makes my lips look a bit flakey although it’s not dead-skin flakey. It’s just the product pilling up.
