Love the minty smell but quite pricey since there isn’t a lot of product.

Not a very efficient scrub. I have naturally dry lips and my lipstick addiction makes them dryer. Therefore, I sometimes get flakes on my lips that need to be exfoliated. Lipscuff gets rid off some of the flakes but not all. The texture of the scrub is also a bit rough. My lips feel afterwards smoother, but this doesn’t moisturize them at all, although the product claims to do so. The packaging is handy and pretty sleek.
A far better lip scrub is surprisingly e.l.f. Studio Lip Exfoliator, which gives you moisturized, flake-free and smooth lips. And of course, e.l.f. costs a fraction of Lipscuff’s price. Sadly, I bought the Lipscuff first, so I ended up wasting money.

I purchased this earlier this year. Trying to use it up as I don’t like to waste my money, I had tried this product a few years ago and remember loving it and as I was suffering from really bad peeling lips, happened to be in body shop buying other stuff I decided yo get this again. I can honestly say that I think this has been reformulated. It is lacking exfoliant and leaves a heavy greasy feeling on my lips after rinsing it off which I have to use a mild, organic alcohol free toner to remove. I am thinking I might try Sarah Happ next. I like the packaging of this but I won’t be buying another.

I want to like this product since I haven’t seen many lip scrubs. It works pretty well giving nice smooth lips. The minty smell is also welcoming and its packaged like a lipstick which I love.
But… it might be that I’m not use to using lip scrubs, so after use, my lips feel irritated. On top of that, I don’t feel that it succeeds in giving me perfectly smooth lips even though my lips don’t get so chapped that I would require a lip scrub. Furthermore, this is quite an expensive buy (Aus$20) – the most I’ve spent on a lip product!
I would consider a repurchase if it was significantly cheaper since it’s nice to have around but it’s not such a HG item to warrant the price for me.

I love this product so much I had to write a review. I suffer from dry lips all year round, and it drives me bad because I feel like I can never wear lipstick because there are always dry bits on my lips 🙁 I have never really thought of exfoliating my lips but I saw this product on you tube so thought I would test it out! I have been using it for about a month now. I use it just after I get out of the shower in the morning, and after I wash my face at night and then I wipe off the excess and apply lip balm. It has really made so much difference and I would strongly recommend it. I suppose it is slightly expensive but if you go on voucher codes website or app they generally always have a discount code. I bought the lipscuff and got a free hand cream with a code so I was happy. And now I can wear lipstick all the time!!

My HG lip product. Rubbed in circular motion over water-moistened lips and splashed off. It removes flakey bits from winter lips, and leaves them soft. A bit of Aquaphor or 8 Hour Cream after will protect and soften further.
I’ve tried the LUSH lip scuffs, but they don’t lock in moisture after exfoliation.

The thing I love the most about this product is the minty smell, which really seems to sooth and freshen up your lips. The packaging is also sleek and simple!
Overall it’s a great lip exfoliator, if you girls are having trouble using it here is how I use it and it works wonders:
1. Gently wash lips with water and remove all products currently on them
2. Apply the Lipscuff – I usually just apply it from the tube and use more or less depending on how dry my lips are
3. You can press your lips together, or use your finger in circular motions to really get the exfoliation effect from this product
4. Remove with a makeup remover cotton pad and warm water
5. Add some moisturising lipbalm and your lips should be ready to go! Or alternatively apply lipstick/lipgloss/etc over it.

This product is pretty good at exfoliating. Its not too harsh and not too soft. However, how you use it is really important. After you apply it, you have to softly rubb it on your lip with your finger.
Afterwards, you may need to use your nail to remove all the dead skin.
It has a light fresh peppermint smell which is really nice 🙂

This is a nice lip treatment. I always like to keep my lips moisturized with a lip balm, but i still have flaky lower lip from time to time. This exfoliates pretty well and I use it every other day during my nighttime cleansing routine. It left a tingly feeling afterward, which was kind of fun, but only after the first use. Then, the second time I used it, it did its job and I couldnt feel anything afterwards, which I sort if missed. Ha. But my lips look smooth now and I even thought it enhanced the color. My lips now look a nice tone of reddish-pink and my balm makes them look pretty healthy and taken-care-of.
Want to try the LUSH scuff now after reading the reviews, considering I LOVE their shampoos.

When I started using this, I realized that using a lip exfoliator can really make a difference in terms of how lipsticks and glosses apply. This is an okay product, it does exfoliate fairly well and has a nice minty-ness to it. I bought it a couple times, but then discovered the LUSH lip scrubs, and I now use those instead. The LUSH scrubs exfoliate even better, you get more for your money, and they are edible! 🙂
