Quite nice, especially on a budget. Don’t let the colour put you off, it goes on very sheer with a slight tint effect, natural enough even for school. Top of the ingredients list are sunflower oil, beeswax, coconut oil, castor oil, lanolin, and pomegranate oil – all commonly used in cosmetics as moisturising ingredients. I think the relatively high content of beeswax and coconut oil in this lead to its stiff, firmer texture in cooler ambient temperatures – when I first tried it, I was unimpressed as it seemed so unyielding, like it took far too much effort to rake it across my lips to get enough of it on. Forgive the uninspired comparison but it was as if I was trying to use a candle as a lip balm. So I was going to just throw it away, and put it in my jeans pocket intending to toss it later on. I thought i’d try it one more time to be sure, and was pleasantly surprised by how much better it was – my body heat had warmed it up enough that it it went on easily, and actually felt moisturising. Probably down to the beeswax and coconut oil, solid at room temperature. Needless to say I kept it, so long as it’s warmed up a little it works great.

I’ve been through several of these. I find the Burt’s Bees lip balm formula very moisturizing but not heavy. Never irritates. It absorbs well. The pomegranate & the honey are my favorites. I’ve tried most of the others but didn’t like them as much.

It’s really moisturizing and lasts at least 3 hours, it plays well with matte lipsticks, just apply a thin layer of the lip balm and whatever matte lipstick works wonderfully 10/10 will buy again

Out of all the flavors this is my least favorite..and I’ve tried them all.

This lip balm doesn’t do shit besides make my lips feel waxy. It is ridiculously unmoisturizing compared to every other lip balm I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t even provide a sheer tint of color despite looking so pretty in its tube. I like beeswax in lip balms, but I ended up using this one as a hand cream just to get rid of it because it was so pointless.

Nice simple lip balm, moisturized, didn’t irritate and nicely scented with no annoying taste. I prefer mint balms but I would buy this again in a pinch.

Would definitely buy again. This is the only chapstick I’ve ever given a damn about lol. I’ve had it since the summer which is a surprise for me that I haven’t lost it
It smells good and really moisturized my lips. They look so good when I use this. Moisturized and it adds a bit of a reddish tint to them 🙂
The ingredients speak for themselves- all great oils and moisturizing components

So disappointing 🙁 I used to love Burt’s Bees products in high school, so recently when I noticed my lips were feeling a little dry I picked up a couple tubes for old time’s sake. I don’t know if the formula has changed or what, but yeah…my lips started out a bit chapped and after maybe a week of using this every day, they had turned to peeling, cracking, nasty sandpaper lips.
I switched to plain Vaseline for a few days and my lips went back to normal. I’ll be avoiding Burt’s Bees from now on, especially since you pay a premium for the supposed ‘natural’ ingredients. Bargain bin, store brand petroleum jelly is legit a better option.

HG chapstick for me. I’ve probably been through 10 of them. I’ll try other chapsticks but I always come back to this, especially in the winter.

From friends and family, I have gotten interpretations of the “pomegranate” scent as:
– a barn
– animals
– candle wax
– herbs/plants
– medicine
It has grown on me with time. I like the very very very sheer pink cast and how it feels more like an oil than a waxy balm.
