This is for just the balm, I have it in 2 shades and I can’t see a difference because they are so sheer, one is a nude and one is coral. The are a very “wet finish” balm and kind of goopy/soft to apply so the name is accurate. The ball packaging is adorable but not practical with how soft these are, a squeeze tube would have made more sense. Would not repurchase.

this is my opinion on the WET LIP BALM only. I do not have the exfoliating product in this set. either can be purchased individually.
let me first clarify that i am a total lip balm and lip gloss girl. if you feel ‘meh’ about balms and glosses then you should probably pass on this. but if you are like me then know that poutmud is a great addition to my collection of balms. also if you do not like dipping your finger into a pot of balm product and applying to lips then you should skip it.
the balm is packaged in a cool silver ball that has some weight in the palm of my hand. the top half twists off to reveal the balm inside the bottom half of the ball.
the balm has no colour and is very thick and may i say ‘gloopy’? very similar texture to vaseline yet not like vaseline as this balm seems slippery yet sticky at the same time. it has a minty scent and taste and makes my lips tingle for a while. it gives the lips a nice gloss with a bit of shimmer and sticks to the lips for quite a while. i dont know exactly how long because i apply this before i go to bed. when i passed out after about 30 mins the balm was still there doing its thing.
when i wake up in the morning my lips are soft and smooth and feel surprisingly moisturized and not dry at all. of course the balm isnt on my lips any longer yet i still feel its effects even after drinking coffee and eating. if i were to put lipstick on right now i think it would apply smoothly and look good, when normally my lips always seem have a degree of chap, despite using a sugar scrub and other balms during the day.
the one problem that i have is that i use too much! this is where the ‘gloopiness’ comes in. dont dip out a bunch with your finger figuring that this is wimpy stuff. a little goes a long way.. it is easy to end up with the balm smeared all over my chin. all i need to do is tap my finger into the balm and that seems to provide enough product. so it appears that this ball of balm will last me a long time even with nightly use.
as long as i take it easy with the amount during application im thrilled with this product. besides wearing it at night, it would also make a good protectant to wear out in the cold. in this way, it reminds of liz arden 8 hour cream, yet not as thick.
i do suppose you could carry this balm around with you all day but the shape will stop you from keeping it in your pocket. i guess it would be easy to find in your purse or bag though. personally i see it as more of an item to sit on my vanity for use at night as a treatment. besides, i wouldnt want to lose it because it is not an inexpensive product.
now just let me say that of course there are about 1000 lip balms that you can buy way cheaper than this one. there are also many other lip treatments that you can buy. so do you really need this? no. is it over-priced? probably. but if you have the cash and want to spoil yourself with a great high-end lip treatment, and enjoy the cool packaging, then go for it.

I use this most mornings and most evenings and I love the minty taste. It does its job well by exfoliating my lips and keeping them moisturized. I love the packaging- it’s amazing just like all the other Glamglo products.
