I was given the mini kiwi chap ice at a dentist office. Once I tried it, it made my lips tingle, swell, burn and DRY. I will never use it again! Glad I didn’t buy it.

This review is for the Chap-Ice Lip balm that is shaped like the spherical EOS ones. I got the watermelon, tastes great, feels more moisturizing, and is much less waxy than EOS. It is slightly smaller, but still better.

I’ve tried quite a few of their products over the years and I like them. My favorites are the medicated kind in the tubes and pots (just like Carmex) and the 100% natural beeswax Revo lip balm in the honeycomb container (just like the original Burt’s Bees lip balm). They’re great if you want a cheap alternative to a lip balm you like and they’re not too hard to find.

All that I can say is that this lip balm is so underrated. I have the mini kiwi lime, and it tastes wonderful and moisturizes my lips like no other lip balm has. It stays on even after eating and drinking and lasts so long! My lips get extremely chapped in the winter after being outside and this is the only lip balm that actually moisturizes and protects my lips instead of just coating them. This isn’t extremely waxy and it isn’t extremely greasy, so it’s a really good balance. I can’t wait to try more flavors, and I can’t believe I’ve never heard anything about this inexpensive but miracle working lip balm!

I’ve discovered that I actually love these more than Chapstick! The regular one (in the black and white package) is actually medicated and smells like Noxzema. It is more matte and less greasy than Chapstick. So glad I discovered this!

I would not use this chapstick for a formal event or a real outing, it’s not meant for that.
It’s a knock off of the regular chapstick. It’s one of the best I’ve ever tried. I have very naturally chapped lips and this is really the only balm that’s ever done anything for them. It keeps them soft and moisturized ALL DAY. This stuff lasts through drinking/eating. Grant it, some of it would rub off but there’s still plenty left on.
It’s very smooth and not waxy at all. The texture is similar to a gloss. It always stays smooth and gloss like. Though my lips don’t really absorb this too horribly much, it could not do a better job at keeping them presentable.
I bought the two-pack in cherry and it gives a great hint of color. It’s a tinted true red and compliments my lips very well.
I’ve had the same stick for over a year with 2/3 if not more left. I do use it several times a week and only have to apply once.
It’s a great find! I’ll repurchase whenever I do end up running out.
