I’ve only ever used the Lush Bubblegum lip scrub before and wasn’t overly impressed. But as someone who suffers with dry lips, particularly in the winter months, I was determined not to give up and to find a lip scrub that works for me. Sadly, this isn’t it…
This is great in principle – unlike the Lush version, this does adhere to your lips and the grains are reasonably small in size, meaning you can scrub at it quite well once you’ve applied it. But that’s where the good parts pretty much begin and end for me. The taste of this is horrible – a very synthetic mint coupled with another weird taste I couldn’t put my finger on, but which I’m guessing is supposed to be the green tea part – and once I’d removed it my lips were left feeling completely stripped and very sore.
I don’t think you can get this on its own – I’ve searched for it on the web and it always seems to come as part of a set (which is how I ended up with it). But if you can get it as a singular product, I seriously wouldn’t bother, My search for an effective lip scrub continues…
