Went to try to purchase this today from a shop that carries it, and I was informed by the shop owner that she received word from her supplier this shade is being discontinued. Therefore she could not reorder. She recommended the shade Bloom ( although more pink) as a close second in terms of being neutral.

Moment is a medium nude brown which is a great day time shade. I don’t really like lipstick and lip gloss can be too sticky…so this is perfect. The only thing is that I don’t like applying with my fingers…a small lip brush is easier and not as messy.
I am gradually changing all of my make-up and skin care to non-toxic choices and I have found RMS to be a great product

So this was my foray into RMS Lip Shines, and I have to say I’m in love — not with this shade though lol As much as I love the RMS line, I have to say that they have a lot of brown lip shades (Rapture, Promise, Moment). I can’t see any skin tone looking good in this color since it is a nude medium brown. It is exactly the look you’d get if you mixed some balm with liquid bronzer. It has less shimmer than bronzer would, but other than that it looks like you put bronzer on your lip. Now, I love myself a nude lip, but I like the white-ish nude lip, not brown/dirt nude lip. In some pictures online I’ve seen it look orange-y, but I didn’t detect any orange in it on my lips. Very, very brown/bronze. I feel like the shade would make a better shadow color.
Maybe this looks good on Gisele since she always looks bronze, but let’s face it, anything looks good on Gisele lol This color will definitely age you. I much prefer RMS’ Smile (coral pink), Illusive (brick red), and Moment (natural color). I am going to be trying all the Lip Shines before this month is over like I did all the Lip2Cheeks and will report back.
Unlike with the Lip2Cheeks, this is surprisingly smooth and nondrying. Has a teensy bit of moisture, but I’m just glad that this product doesn’t make my lips crack (like Lip2Cheeks). If only Smile came in a Lip Shine, that would be the product that would have it all — perfect youthful pop of color on any skin tone and nondrying! The Lip Shines are considerably cheaper than the Lip2Cheeks also since they aren’t as versatile. Sill, a little goes a long way! One jar will last you at least a year.
Pros: chic packaging, smooth formula, ingredients
Cons: price, color

I have both of the RMS lip colors, and while I like them in theory (I like what they are – an organic and raw product that’s good for me), I actually find them oddly drying. The colors are very natural, in keeping with the entire line and the principal of the line. Like all RMS products, it’s expensive, but you’re getting a concentrated product that will last for a long time. I don’t think I would buy this again because I don’t like how my lips feel dry after I’ve used it – I feel like I need to reapply within 30 minutes – but perhaps my lips are just a little high maintenance (I am lip gloss dependent!). But if you’re looking for a natural product that is completely toxin free, this is a great product for you.

I got this product as a free sample, I didn’t really like it at first, but I keep putting it on anyways. I was previously devoted to my Burt’s bees tinted lip balm in hibiscus, but as time goes by, I am so addicted to this lip shine. I actually really like that it’s an alternative to a lipgloss because it’s not sticky at all! it’s super mousturizing as well and gives such a healthy shine to my lips. In comparison to my tinted lip balm, you know when the product comes in a lipbalm stick and then you smear it on your lips but because your lips are very chapped, some of the ‘tinted’ colour kind of stick to the white dry bits of your lips and I get sooo annoyed and grossed out. Well, this is why I prefer RMS beauty lipshine! It comes in a pot and it’s so much easier if you do it with your fingers as it gives a more even texture. It will also suit any skin tone out there, because the colour is a ‘basis’ of every lip colour, well almost. If you have fairer skin tone I think you might want to try out Bloom as it is more pink because moment is more visibly brown (look at Giselle Bundchen’s lips).

Despite knowing that brown/nude lips are not a good look for me, I brought this in a Moment of exuberance (haha). Maybe I was hoping to have some of Giselle’s sexiness rub off on me? With my fair hair + skin, a wish indeed!
At any rate, this is a great product if you’re olive or darker. I happened to wear this all summer with bronzer (Dr Hauschka Bronze Transluscent + 100% Pure Cocoa bronzer, a touch of Lip2Cheek in Smile) and a smokey eye, and felt super fashionable and sexy. It kept my lips protected + hydrated in full Hawaiian sun during my holiday, not a chapped lip in sight. However, now that I’m back to my pale self, it looks odd. Its not the fault of the lip shine – as they say, its not you, its me… and my colouring (hence the 4 rather than a 2).
The product can’t be beat – I love how moisturising it is. I also think its more pigmented than Bloom. I wish Rose Marie would come out with a pink that’s as pigmented as Moment – fingers crossed!
ps if you have any hint of yellow in your teeth, stay away. But that can be said of any brown lip colour, so just a re-iteration.
