I have this in the color Flirt. The formula is spot on. It is moisturizing, has a nice slip without feeling too oily or tacky. The color is a very subtle warm, light pink mauve. Imo, it’s a healthy and more natural look than most tinted balms (the bitten stain look seems to be what most lines are offering these days.) I also appreciate the SPF and how easy this is to wear without lip liner or a full face. I fin2f this balm, a concealer and brows are the perfect combo when you have no time whatsoever to get ready but NEED to slap something on quickly.
What prevented me from giving this a full 5 was the artificial flavor/scent. It is a very strong generic citrus than leans more towards a household cleanser smell than what I would expect from a pricey natural beauty line. This would be perfect with no fragrance/flavoring or something subtle and easy like a vanilla.
I put that I wouldn’t repurchase only because I need to look into Jane Iredale’s other options first and see if there is an unscented version before committing. (I am very sensitive to fragrance as I get chronic migraines.)

My lips are always chapped ever since I can remember even though I’m in the tropics. So I’ve always been in the hunt for great lip balms.
I recenlty traveled to a country that just started spring and experienced really bad chapped lips that were splitting and raw all over. Tried everything- paw paw, petroleum jelly, other lip balms, so when we got home I headed out to buy this one which had been on my radar. And voila, it cured my severly chapped lips in a DAY!
Pros:
Great healing powers- cured my severly chapped lips when no other can
Has spf
Casing is pretty
Cons:
Moisturing feel is short lived, need to reapply constantly
Expensive
Casing but a bit heavy
For reference, in the past, the lip balms that I have tried and stood out were Jack Black intense lip therapy and Laneige but both are difficult to find in our country.
I have the clear one because they had no other colors.
I have already repurchased because I lost the first one 🙁 but I only intend to use this mostly for healing and skincare, so I typically carry at least 2 lip balms.

This is a nice, pigmented lip treatment. I like the lip balm being in a lipstick format. No sticky finger application. Makes my lips feel soft. I purchased Flirt. Very subtle colour with my fair skin, dark hair. Good for everyday, no fuss application. Long lasting? This is not one of my priorities. I am fine with reapplication throughout the day. It lasted me for 7 months. Considering the price $$$, this was a nice treat for myself.

I love this product. I’ve tried lots of different lip balms, many of which dry my lips even more, but I always come back to this one. It moisturises, smooths and heals my dry, chapped lips almost instantly, and keeps them in good condition. I use the sheer colour, which I like but can look pale if reapplied heavily, but It comes in different shades

I received this as a sample in a beauty box in the sheer tone. I normally use Lansinoh lanolin(its in the breast feeding aisle for chaffed nipples!☺)and the Lansinoh is my HG for smooth/cracked lips. The Jane Iredale is pretty good, but for $15 a tube I probably wouldn’t repurchase since the Lansinoh is $9 for a tube equal to at least 10 of the lipdrink, and works immediately to heal cracked lips, but it is a good product.

I have been searching high and low for a lip balm that does not dry my lips. My lips are extremely sensitive and get dry for most products. I think I have finally found my go-to! I tried it on the first day, and my lips were soft and smooth for the next two days! It left a wonderful feeling on my lips and keeps it moist all day. I am digging the crush color, it’s a nice soft pink on my lips.

I got the color buff. The color is perfect, just a sheer hint of tint and no white cast at all. Not as thick as most balms. I hate the teeny cap. Wish it was a flip top or larger, and more secure. For being perfect tint/ color and having mineral sunscreen filters it was almost perfect……until…..the smell sits there. It’s not like lemons or pinesol. It’s like citronella….just like a citronella candle was smeared on my lips and felt thin (instead of waxy and protective ) but somehow had this nice, sheer, perfect tinted balm color. With the scent and taste to totally kill it.

This is the best lip balm I ever had. I have this in sheer and buff. Buff is a beautiful natural color. The “sheer one” though leaves a violet shad on my lips and I’m don’t like this. But I use it under a color lipstick. I like and use the lip drink also because there’s no petrolatum in it. (that dries out your lips)

This product used to be incredible! The formula was super hydrating, lightweight, and smelled lovely. However, a key sunscreen ingredient that was included in the old formula is no longer available to Iredale. The new formula smells like lemon pine sol and leaves a very noticeable white cast. It is also not as long lasting, so regular application is needed. As a result, this beauty product is not cost effective. I am normally a stickler for using products to the very last drop, and I will do the same with this. But for $12, I will not repurchase. If the brand couldn’t maintain the quality of their product due to ingredient availability, they should have dropped this lip balm from their line altogether. Instead, they chose to market a far inferior product. I am very disappointed. On the plus side, the new packaging is gorgeous.

Looks like generic Chapstick but is a lot less moisturizing, if that’s possible. Doesn’t go on smoothly. I tried it as a base for lipstick which promptly slid off.
I’ve only found it useful when covered under Aquaphor.
