I have the shade Rhubarb. This color reminds me of CT Pillow Talk! It isnt as scary as the tube looks and applies very natural. It smoothes my lips and plump them while making them look really juicy and plush. I love how the applicator opening is huge and i can squeeze out a good amount. I dont have to squeeze so hard for products to come out(problems with squeezy tubes) downside to that is you have to be careful not to put too much pressure. the color is a midtone neutral pink towards a red pink but it does not show up as dark as the tube. it adds a hint of color and healthiness to the lips. gives it a watery glass like look to them which i love. When this fades it will leave a nice stain as well. the formula is outstanding, smells like chocolates. i do not like the smell of lanolin and these dont smell bad. It nourishes while being thin and not thick or goopey. I dont need to reapply as much as other lip treatments ive had in the past. this is by far my favorite tinted lip balm on the market.
i like to top this off with a high shine gloss, this formula goes well under other lip products so i do love that. Will def repurchase! I am curious of how the Nude would look but Rhubarb is so cute!

Love this tinted lip balm!
I bought this in the shade Perfect Nude, the color is really beautiful but it ends up being lighter than what it looks like on my lips. The color does look slightly milky but will level itself out.
The formula of this tinted lip balm is like a thick emollient balm and isn’t glossy. If anything, it gives a satin finish look to your lips. There is a slight subtle scent of a typical emollient cream. The tube is pretty small itself but the packaging box is quite large. The tube also has a slanted tip with a huge hole in the middle, which makes this easier to squeeze out.
Would definitely recommend if you love tinted balms and need that extra hydration.

I bought this in Rose due to the good reviews but I’ve gotta say, I’m very disappointed in this because it’s ridiculously similar to the super cheap gloopy lip glosses you bought as a kid in novelty stores. It does not in any way deserve its $17.50NZD price tag. If I had been handed a tube of this to try out blindly I would have genuinely believed it was cheap plasticy kids makeup worth only a couple dollars.
I’ve only owned mine for a few days and it’s been kept in air controlled places, so it’s not like it’s turned or anything. It’s just a very plastic feeling pigmented gloss. I find it sticky feeling, even if I use the thinnest layer and spread it around with my finger. It’s nowhere near as sticky as other glosses, but it’s still far from ideal.
The applicator tip is total rubbish. I honestly think I’d like the balm a bit more if it had a different style. It’s a slanted plastic tip with the large hole in the middle (making it hollow) and the design of it makes it annoying to apply. The plastic slanted applicator just pushes the gloopy balm around, rather than diffusing it. So if you apply this without a mirror, you will end up with big streaks everywhere.
In terms of moisture, it is utterly average. It has the very typical lip balm formula where it makes your lips feel softer while it’s still fresh on your lips, but actually dries them out slightly a few hours later.
Definitely won’t be repurchasing. It’s useless as balm because it’s one of those tricky formulas that worsens your lips overtime. And it’s annoying to wear for the appearance because you NEED a mirror to make sure it applies evenly, and the overall look once you’ve spread/diffused it isn’t anything special.

I bought 3 of these to try but they are so hard to get out of the tube and to put evenly on my lips. The slant tube is good but the lanolip balm is just so thick it’s hard to get out of the tube and once you do then it’s too much. And then to reapply is just so much work. Really my lanolin lip balm that I already have is so much easier that I will have to give up on tinted.
I tried 3 colors: rose (a milky pink/white shimmer); rhubarb (sheer orangish on me) and perfect nude which is a great color but I have to really watch how I apply this because it can end up outside my lip line and will smudge on my face. Such a bummer cuz the color is great.

This review is for the version sold in the US which doesn’t have any sunscreen or have a spf rating.
So far every lanolips product I’ve tried is a bit of a pain the first few uses because it takes a lot of squeezing to get product and too much comes out, but eventually it behaves. This is a nice creamy balm packaged in a slanted tip tube that makes application easy and doesn’t get yucked up if you’re not too sloppy with it.
I found the color “perfect nude” first and loved it so much that I hunted down two more. Perfect Nude is actually rose in color, matching the tone of my lips quite well and for me an excellent neutral lip. Rose is a pink shade and makes my lips look a little pearlized and lighter in color. I find this shade tricky because it requires a very even and light application or it looks streaky. Rhubarb is a bright shade of strawberry red, this is my favorite of the three because it makes my lips deeper in color. The color stays around a little longer than the lip balm itself, sort of like a stain.
I’m not that experienced with lipstick & lip gloss other than I know the few lip glosses I’ve tried were either drying or super tacky. The Lanolips tinted lip balm formula is not at all like this and very nice to wear: hydrating, gives a subtle shine, tastes a little sweet like cocoa butter and isn’t tacky like a lip gloss.

This is a review for the color Perfect Nude. I have literally used up 2 tubes of the product down to squeezing the tube to get the very last bit. This is an incredibly smooth and non sticky lip treatment that imparts a nice pinky nude color to the lips. It comes in small clear squeeze tube so you can see how much of the product is left and it also has a slanted tip, so application of the color is an easy process. The only problem is when you get down to the last of the product, if you squeeze too hard a large blob will pop out and give you much more product than you need and make you angry you wasted it.
The product claims to be 99% natural and the predominant ingredient is lanolin and it is supposedly SPF 30, but I wouldn’t count on it. The website says it’s made in Australia and it comes in 3 other colors, Rose, Rhubarb and Red Apple. It does moisturize the lips fairly well and lasts about as well as any other lip treatment, if you eat or drink, it will come off. The product does not cause any stinging or burning, even if my lips are very dry.
The only thing is, this product is hard to locate on its own. My first 2 tubes came from ULTA, then I noticed the color was no longer on the website. It’s available on QVC, but only as a set, with other products that I wasn’t interested in. I finally tracked it down on the Nordstrom website and ordered 2 more and was very happy they had free shipping. The cost of these is fairly reasonable @ $13.00 a tube.
