CONS
– The BIGGEST con (maybe the only one that matters) is the sheen. AKA sparkles. Horrible for your skin! There is no reason a “skin care”/lip care product should have sparkles. Makeup, ok, I get it. But I didn’t plan to use this as makeup.
– This particular flavor is not readily accessible ; this brand in general is not sold in most places
PROS
– the SMELL! Deliciously banana
– Moisturizes well (rather surprising considering the sparkle)
– Sparkle notwithstanding, the ingredients are decent
– Affordable price
I don’t know if I will repurchase this because of the sparkles

I love Lano products, but the white cast in this one is a deal breaker for me. Doesn’t matter how thinly I apply it I get this weird, ashy look on my lips. And I don’t like the fact that this lip balm has weird little sparse sparkles in it. I don’t have a problem with glitter but it’s such a small amount it gives me this look like I didn’t clean my lips well enough after I wore a glittery lipstick and then topped it with a white-ish gloss.
However, it smells amazing. I’ve been looking for a banana lip balm for ages and this one certainly delivers. It smells like banana cream pie! Because it’s Lanolips and it’s enriched with lanolin so it really delivers really nice moisture. It’s lighter in texture than the 101 ointment lip balms (the Strawberry or Coconutter) so it’s nice.
But this just isn’t for me. Maybe lighter skin tones will enjoy this more than me. I would not repurchase it. But I would love it if Lano created a clear banana lip balm.

This is the best lip balm ever. I have severe dry lips and this has helped fix that for me in just one use. It smells amazing. It seems expensive but it’s actually not when you think about it because you only need to use a tiny amount each time so this tube will last you a while. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

And on my quest to find the perfect cruelty free lip moisturizer, I stumbled upon this beauty…
I had researched Lanolips a little before I purchased their products. The 3 in 1 Banana Balm Lip Sheen is phenomenal. Lanolips is an Australian company that produces natural lip and skincare products.
The Banana Balm stuck out to me- and I’m so happy that’s what I decided to go with. At $15.95 it’s pricey but I do think it’s worth every penny. The Banana scent is light and pleasant I really enjoy it. You get the slightest bit of sparkle on your lips with this lip sheen. I think it’s beautiful. It’s cruelty free. It’s a lip conditioner, Lustre sheen, and lip smoother. I’m obsessed. It makes my lips feel so good.

a delicious sweet light balm with a touch of sparkle that looks and feels wonderful on the lips. this is super moisturising without being heavy and makes lips feel plumper. the natural banana flavour is a bonus.
.
i love lanolips lip products and this one is right up there with the best. the applicator – always the weak point with tube-based lip products – is smooth and slanted, and easy to use without fingers, and superior to the applicator used with the other lanolips balms.
.
because it tastes so light and fresh, and moisturises so well, this is a good balm to wear with other lip products that are drying, or less appealing taste-wise.

I got this today for $16.95 at my local Priceline store in Australia. The packaging was cute & there’s a decent amount of product in the tube.
This really smells like bananas & cream. It has a slight shimmer to it, it’s not overpowering, but perfect for a sheen on the lips. The formula is thick which is good. It doesn’t feel greasy on the lips & it lasts a while.
It’s the middle of winter here now so I think this will do good for my very dry lips; it’s working wonders already!

Finally a lip treatment that actually works! I have oily skin but the driest lips ever, not just mildly dry, mega dry! we’re talking skin hanging off, crusty, sore, blister prone lips (lovely) I did try the original lanolips ointment but that isn’t a patch on this stuff. This transforms gruesome lips like mine into smooth, plump, shiny picture perfect lips. In the day I apply it a few mins before lip colour ,at night I layer it on for an intensive treatment (it stays put all night and doesn’t evaporate!) it also smells amazing, like real bananas not synthetic at all-will be repurchasing totally worth the price.

Sleep with a layer of this on your lips and you’ll wake up with bigger, plumper lips. I can attest to that. They could put a claim on this product that says something like: increases lip volume by 25% – and of course, most women will take a little plumping, thank you, yes please.
The second great thing about Banana Balm is the gorgeous wash of shimmer that it leaves on your pout. There’s a pale gold and pink iridescence to this stuff that I think is just beautiful – it layers wonderfully over lipstick and is flattering on its own. Over a nude colour it’s gorgeous – almost as good a lipgloss for that purpose as one could hope to find.
As a lip treatment, it’s good too. It’s not a miracle worker but it does a good job on chapped or parched lips. I’m interested in what the rest of the line has to offer!

I thought lanolips 101 ointment was my hg but this has topped it. The 3 in 1 is meant to include lustre, protection and conditioning.
I love the sweet non obtrusive banana scent and the taste is also oh so slightly banana. Banana lovers will love this. It provides a very subtle golden shimmer/sheen and doesn’t look as wet/greasy as the original does on the lips. The slanted applicator makes it so much easier to directly apply on the lips and is less scratchy compared to the original and due to its creamier formula, is much easier to squeeze out of the tube.
The texture is almost whipped and a hybrid between a cream and a balm. It feels more light weight yet from the go you can feel how nourishing it is on your lips. It isn’t pure lanolin and contains beex wax, some vitamins, banana extract, shea butter and a few other things. I think this product is pretty much perfect, it still has a high lanolin content but adds other moisturizing ingredients to complement it and improve it. It leaves lips so soft and I prefer this over the original during the day to protect and hydrate my lips.
While the original was great at protecting lips and keeping them moist, I find it did little at repairing sore or cracked lips and in these cases, I find the banana Balm to be more healing and soothing.
At night due to the 101 ointment’s thicker texture, I prefer to slather it over my lips while I sleep, but for day use – banana Balm!
