I use the Peppermint one religiously. I’ve tried others, and they are all very different. I have really finicky lips that only become untapped with very selective lip balms, ugh. The main ingredient in balms that work for me is shea butter. The Zum Peppermint one works REALLY REALLY well, consistently. I tried a lemon one once and I think I conveniently lost it, because it didn’t work very well. Now I make my own, similar to this peppermint one and it works JUST AS WELL: small amount of beeswax like 10% of the whole empty/used lip container, shea butter, castor oil, vitamin e oil, and a small amount of honey. Stuff is awesome, easy to make, and cheap to make, because Zum lip balms are really hard to find…

I guess I didn’t buy it fresh. I can’t tell from the reviews if its meant to be super waxy kind of like glue almost or if i just got an old batch. I bought mine from a grocery store(big mistake) so obviously it could have just been sitting on the rack for a long time. I’m willing to try it again if I find it at a different retailer and it is guaranteed fresh.
Right now its winter and everything is super dry so I’m going to give it a shot for the week to see if it helps my lips at all. Maybe it’ll make a good night treatment. I’ll update this review later on.

I bought the Zum Kiss Grapefruit lip balm at the grocery store on my lunch break because I saw that it was on sale for 1.50. The packaging is nice and it seemed like a great deal so I picked it up.
When I got back to work and tried using it I was immediately disappointed. First of all it smells awful! Mostly like rancid oil with a slightest hint of grapefruit. It was so bad it was hard for me to even try it on, but seeing as I had no other chapstick I had to give it a shot. I couldn’t even get it to come off on my lips, it felt hard and sticky. I rubbed it on my palm out of curiosity and it felt like a glue stick. I washed my hand twice and even used a clorox wipe and my hand is still INCREDIBLY sticky. I guess its a good thing it didnt come off on my lips… So long story short, DO NOT BUY THIS!!

I love all of the Zum products like their lip balms, lotions, bath salts, hand creams, Zum mists and goats milk soaps. I have their vanilla and almond-orange lip balms. They are incredibly natural and use only essential oils, honey and stevia for flavors, which prevents a flare up on my face since I’m allergic to stuff with scents.
They all taste, smell and feel amazing on my lips. I don’t get any dryness or waxy-ness from these lip balms like others have said. It’s one of the best lip products I use actually! I really recommend the almond-orange because it’s SO delicious. I have the Zumbo Kiss almond and bought my first one 6 months ago. I have more than half the product left, but I have tons of other lip balms so I only use this about once or twice a week. I did however use it every day for 3 months when I lost my old lip balms and this was the only one I had left.
I love these lip balms, and Zum products

This lip balm has similar ingredients to a lot of my favorites but something seems to be lost in translation. It applies well and feels nice, but disappears faster than most other lip balms I have tried and doesn’t seem to really penetrate the lips to give them any lasting moisture. After reapplying over and over again during the day my lips still feel dry. It definitely prevents them from getting more dry, but doesn’t help heal them. Not worth the money, IMHO.

Mine was very hard, and made my lips sting a bit. I don’t know if that was from the formula or it dragging against my lips. Definitely will not buy this again.

Ok for a lip balm. Does not provide lasting moisture or protection. I love the soaps, but there are so many better lip balms out there I would not purchase this again.

I really like the Zum Kiss lip balm because it lasts on my lips, keeps them soft, I like the smells, and it consists only of natural ingredients. But, the fact that the ingredients are natural (and the product contains no preservatives) limits the “purse-life” of this product a bit. So, I am careful about where I purchase it to be sure that I buy it from a retailer that has quick turn-over of the product. I also buy only one at a time so that I use it up before the product loses its nice aroma and becomes waxy. The tea tree-lavender flavor might be a bit too strong on the tea tree aroma for people who aren’t already familiar with or using tea tree oil.

I’ve purchased this in Tangerine (stick) twice and I really like it. It goes on smooth and semi-glossy. It doesn’t really seep in. The smell is subtle and tolerable. It lasts for a quite a while. When it wears off, my lips feel soft as opposed to chapped up (which is what I experienced with plain old Chapstick).
My only complaint is that the recent stick I have has gotten really glue-like, to the point where I can’t use it. This might be because I kept it in my purse, though. Plus, the price is a bit too high.
I would repurchase this product but I would rather find a product with the same positive qualities that penetrates more and is cheaper.

I got mine in a sample pack that came with tangerine. Not fond of the scent, smells like dried oranges. I like how easily it applies to my lips but the moisturizing effects don’t last long enough. Plus, there are much better lip balms out there for the price.
