I previously held affection for aquaphor tubes and fresh sugar lip balms, and I do still like both of those products. A friend said “try this, its the best” and I now agree with her. Worth every penny and somehow it does manage to edge out the competition.

I received this lip balm as a gift-with-purchase, and I used it up, but wouldn’t repurchase it. It does have a good, clean ingredients list and a refreshing natural mint flavor. However, it’s a bit slippery to use under lip color. You can find similarly “green” lip balms for much lower prices (Badger, Tika Botanika, Crazy Rumors, Ganache, Better Botanicals…) Last but not least, the IN lip balm packaging is cheap and turned into a total mess just from being kept in my purse.

I’ve used this product for three months, and haven’t been especially impressed.
Pros: healthy ingredients; I liked the slender tube; fairly emollient
Cons: price – $17; needed frequent reapplication
Overall this is just a mediocre lip balms with a big price. I would not repurchase.
