Just picked this product up from my local Sephora because I was in desperate need of a lip scrub that would hydrate my lips and prep them for lipstick application. I’m such a stickler when it comes to smooth lipstick and hate it when I have dead skin on my lips. I find that the toothbrush trick doesn’t work for me.
Anyway, the product went for $18 and it’s very nice! It’s a whipped cherry scent and taste, and it comes in a small jar. Little pricey for a lip scrub, comparing this to other brands that carry things like this like Burt’s Bees, but it works for what I need it for. Makes my lips smooth, but because it is a scrub, I had to apply a lip moisturizer after because it dries my lips out from scrubbing. It is tough to get all the sugar off with a wet towel or tissue so I would suggest washing it away with water then patting dry afterwards. Will rebuy if I run out, only if I don’t come across a cheaper option or a DIY video showing me how to make this at home.
