I first got this in Rome, for 9 Euros, and I wish I had purchased more at that time, because of the price! However, this is a balm that should be used up within 6 months, so it doesn’t go bad (it should say that on the packaging, or be more airtight-packaged). I have Innocence, the lightest pink color, and it does have some pink color to it, but it heals winter-chapped lips and keeps them kissably soft! I will repurchase again, though I hate the packaging (the tub with the ugly faux-wood lid)!

I like the Caudalie french kiss tinted lip balm, it makes my lips look healthy and it gives them a nice tint. I have the one called addiction which delivers a sheer raspberry tint. The formula is hydrating and according to the brand is edible. I would prefer it would last more after application. The packing is very cute, with a nice wooden cap, but I don’t like that i have to stick my finger in it every time i want to apply it since it is not very hygienic. The price is about 10euros in France and it goes a long way. All in all it is a hydrating lip balm with a very nice smell which makes the lips look naturally healthy with a beautiful color.

I’m on the fence with this one. I bought Addiction. At first the texture was quite firm, which I didn’t mind. The colour payoff was minimal—this annoyed me a little, but the smell was divine and it did great duty as a lip primer for darker lipsticks. Flash ahead four months: I plucked it out of my vanity box and noticed that it was a) softer and b) depositing more colour. I also noticed that it was rancid. Ugh! So there you go. Lovely enough, but not for long.

French Kiss definitely needs its own time in the limelight! I came by this product because it was included in a coffret set with Beauty Elixir, and I’m very glad that whomever decided to pair these two together, did just that!
My lips are prone to frequent peeling from dryness and end up raw. They also aren’t very pigmented. The shade that comes in the coffret set is Seduction: a rosy raspberry hue. I love it. It gives that hint of Parisian “je ne sais quoi”, while keeping my lips from peeling for hours until reapplication. I would say this lasts 4-5 hours max. It also smells a bit like raspberry pie too!
Seconding SanFranGirl, Caudalie is also my go-to skincare brand.

Caudalie is one of my HG skincare brands for a number of (amazing) reasons and these new lip balms didn’t disappoint!
I love the brand’s original lip balm (one in a chapstick form) but if you like a little bit of tint to your lip products, you should try these. There are three shades to choose from; I love one called “Innocence” it is this perfect, practically sheer baby pink. I always keep this balm on my working desk and reapply whenever I am feeling dry. Great for busy girls and mommies on the go. I have close-ups and a detailed review here for those of you who want to know more (
Plus, this formula is full of polyphenols and natural oils, so it will also protect you from premature wrinkles. Couldn’t recommend these balms enough!
