I’m always on the hunt for a good vegan lip balm, but near where I live, they can be a bit elusive. So after my beloved Crazy Rumors balms just stopped working for me, stumbling upon these was a bit of a godsend.
I have two varieties – the lemon-lime and the sweet mint. Neither have much in the way of a flavor (this is fine because I don’t want to be tempted to lick my lips). The lemon-lime is a nice, sweet citrus that feels refreshing. The sweet mint is my ideal lip balm scent for cold months. I love the cooling tingle this one leaves behind too.
The texture isn’t waxy or dry. It’s got a good amount of slip to it, and leaves a semi-glossy finish, which I think is actually rather pretty. It wouldn’t be ideal for layering under (or over) lipstick due to the slipperiness, but on its own, it’s wonderful.
The packaging is your typical sturdy lip balm tube. Nothing fancy here.
I paid just under $5 at Whole Wallet for this. That seems to be the going rate across the board. It’s more expensive than Crazy Rumors, but not nearly as pricey as Karite Lips (and it works much better).
I’ll definitely continue to purchase this balm until it stops working wonders for my perpetually parched lips.

This lipbalm is the best! I won’t use anything else. I picked it up at the cashier after the bright yellow tube caught my eyes. The ingredients look impressive. Most lipbalm contains beeswax but this one lists jojoba oil on the very top. This one has a slight lime scent which disappears quickly and it has no after taste. This one retails for less than $5 which I think is very cheap although I didn’t expect such a good quality at this price. Love everything, won’t change a thing!

This is a great vegan lip balm. It doesn’t contain any beeswax, hence the “bee free” name. The tube I have is lemon-lime…I don’t know if there are other varieties or not. It doesn’t have any flavor, but the lemon-lime scent is nice. Because it doesn’t have any petroleum or beeswax in it, this balm has a thinner, almost oily texture. It bothered me at first because I wasn’t used to it, but it’s grown on me and now I love it! It keeps my lips soft and moisturized. Definitely try this if you prefer vegan products or are trying to avoid petroleum.
