The WORST lip balm I have ever tried. First off, sure packaging was cute but it was a pain in the arse to open. Second off, the balm fell out of its little capsule. And most importantly, it is awful quality and made my lips drier than they already were. I really don’t understand all of the rave of EOS products because they aren’t good quality and especially bad pricing. Would not recommend to anyone.

I purchased this the last time I was in the States, mainly because I wasn’t prepared to pay the extortionate prices they charge for EOS products in the UK (£6.99 for this one!). And I’m really glad I did because this was horrible! It did absolutely nothing for my lips. In fact if anything, it made them look and feel drier. The scent was really artificial too and if it got even slightly warm, it would leak out of the container and all over my bag! I have no idea what it’s made of, but clearly whatever it is it doesn’t stand up well to warmer temperatures. I’ll stick to the original EOS lip balms from now on and avoid this one completely.

Complete and utter waste of time and money. Do not buy this. Don’t fall for it!
It’s basically aloe gel and glycerin. Does absolutely nothing for lips. I actually feel like it made them worse!
Super cute idea, but definitely ineffective and over priced. Shame on you Eos, you new this was crap!

Basically. Does. Nothing.

Like most of the reviews mine will be similar. I recently bought this, this winter. I bought the orchid one. The packaging is pretty, however the price is not. £7.99 I paid in my local boots store. Im not sure what i was thinking. The results were disappointing. I applied it the first time and I liked the taste but that not a good enough reason for me to buy a product that does not do the job. I thought it was just the first time use that was shocking. But i managed to make this clear balm decrease nearly half way in a week because I was applying it so much. It had the opposite effect to what I wanted. It made my lips drier!! I would strongly advise that anyone thinking about this would look elsewhere. One of my top lip balms to this day is Burt’s Bee’s the original and nothing has beaten that for me.

This product looked appealing in the packaging. I should have known better as I was not impressed with the standard EOS flagship product that everyone raved about but was extraordinarily lackluster for me. This was no different.
I bought Vanilla Orchid. I was very pleased with the smell; it’s very pleasant that smells both floral and edible. The product looks cool in the unit. It’s a formed EOS balm, but this model is a clear, suspended product. It’s so clear it seems it almost shouldn’t be solid. Honestly the appearance of the product would make it an interesting item to have, and the smell makes it desirable, however it gets only 1 lippie in the packaging because it leaked into a gooey puddle while completely sealed up and laying on its side. I do not live in 110 degree weathered environments so I feel that is completely unacceptable. Quality testing should have eliminated this as a possibility from being an occurrence in standard room temperature environments.
The product itself made my lips feel drier with use. I thought maybe at first it was caused from dehydration but I tested it again at a later date and my lips again felt hardened from it, not moisturized. Neat idea, terrible product.

I love EOS lip balms. I always have one in my purse, and one at work. I bought the crystal lip balm in Vanilla and Orchid, and it was disappointing. It’s the summer and I live in a hot and humid weather. As soon as I opened the packaging, I noticed it had leaks. I wiped if off and used the product anyway. It looked cute and felt great. but my lips dried out soon and started flaking. Not thinking twice the product didn’t work, I just blamed myself for not taking good care of my lips. I tried to use it just now, and the bulging crystal portion broke off! This is a very disappointing product from EOS. I am going back to my regular EOS mint lip balm.

Initially I loved it. Then 10 minutes later my lips were drier. I used it exclusively for the next 6 hrs and then threw it out. Waste of money

I hated this lip balm! The packaging is cute, and it smells nice (I got the peach one) but the lip product is awful. It’s very greasy and the balm was leaking out of the packaging. I had to wipe it every time I used it! It didn’t really moisturize my lips and I regret buying this. This is the worst EOS lip balm I’ve ever bought.

I have the vanilla orchid one which is very lightly scented/flavored and thankfully the orchid is undetectable and the vanilla is not very clawing.
I purchased it just as the cold months were starting which is not ideal because it’s more of a light balm, more suited for summer months.
I’m pleased with it because it’s something different, feels great going on and smells nice. But now that we’re in hard core winter it’s not enough. Sometimes I use it under a Shea butter balm but for the most part I’ve beeen skipping it.
It IS however great for over matte lipstick/liquid lipstick because it provides some softness without messing with the coverage too much.
