It’s very thick which I love but I would not say it’s overly moisturizing. Do I think any way think anyone should spend the money on this? No there are far superior balms for less.

I began using this lip balm more than two years ago It was so expensive that i thought i must be crazy. as i also bought a la mer lip balm too. Well i have used quite a few pots of this lip cream and am just about to open another new one. I suffer from extremly dry and sensitive lips but this balm really helps keep my lips from severe cracking and peeling I use it every night. My lips never get irritated from this balm. just use a thick layer at night and let it work its magic. Despite still trying many orher lip creams both local and from overseas I am never without a pot of this and continue to use it daily as nothing else has come close

This is the most amazing, incredible, and life changing lip balm I’ve ever experienced. Never thought I’d say that about a lip balm! You need this. I applied this every single night and it completely repaired my lips starting from day 1. It lasted a LONG time and now that I’ve made it through the whole jar I can’t wait to buy another one. But in the meantime, my lip aren’t suffering – they seem to really have been “repaired!”

I love it. I hesitated to buy, because most other Sisley products I have tried so far were disappointing. But this lip balm is great. I use it overnight. In the morning my lips are soft and lines less pronounced.
I like the glossy shine, and would like to wear it during the day as well. But I use the spatula to apply it (hygienic reasons) and do not see myself keeping a little jar and spatula in my handbag all the time.
If Sisley would ever turn this into a handy lipstick version, I would give it a 5 score.

First of all i think it doesn’t moisturize, only feels something thick on your lips and gives shine for a while. It’s not more than lipgloss. I like la mer lip conditioner and I went to parfumerie for buy la mer but the seller insisted about this product and said its much more better than la mer . you will love Bla bla. I used this it’s 3rd day and my lips getting dry and I don’t t feel Fresh and hydrated. It’s such a waste money.

I have some pretty full lips over here and lets be realists, there isn’t any place for dried chapped flaky lips but in my book? Especially not for the plump at the mouth! SO terrible. In my quest for the best lip care products for my lips, I stumbled upon this balm about four to five years ago. HANDS DOWN BEST BALM I’VE EVER USED. IN LIFE. The consistency is thick, very thick, but doesnt look heavy on the lips. Traditionally I do not like balms that leave a “shiny” lacquer type of finish. But this…THIS….I can;t explain the finish besides that it is somewhat shiny but melts into the skin to leave a healthy sheen. Not too too much shine, love. Price tag? Eh! I’ll pay for this again because of how great the product is.

I have purchased this lip balm many times over. It’s been the best for overall texture, moisture and lack of fragrance that I’ve been able to find across any brand and price point. I find that I don’t have to use it every day due to how moisturising it is and it comes in extra handy when I need to make a really matt lipstick glide over my lips easier.
I tend to use a very fine layer and the coverage is fantastic. Don’t bother slathering it on in a thick layer because all you’ll be doing is wasting precious product. If used correctly, it also doesn’t sit on my lips like a horrid coating like some others I’ve tried and there is also no stinging which is bonus points in my book!
It works especially well when I’ve come down with a cold and my lips/mouth starts to dry and crack on the sides. Again, I use the tiniest amount and have it on overnight. The effects in the morning are so great. I really can’t stress that less is more in this case.
Some might bulk over the price tag but I find this little pot of wonder lasts soooooo long. My sister uses a stick from the Body Shop and tends to use it every day. We worked out that for the few dollars she spends on each stick combined with the number of repurchases she makes in a year, that this Sisley Confort Extreme Levres works out cheaper because it lasts so much longer!!!
The only negative that some might find is that it doesn’t have any SPF. For me this is not a problem. I press and rub my lips so much in the day that I doubt the SPF would remain long enough. Also, because this Sisley product is so effective, I don’t have to use it every day. Other balms I have tried over the years have made me so reliant on their regular use that I’ve had to question their efficacy. Whereas the Sisley Confort Extreme Levres really does condition my lips like no other. I highly recommend.

Update 1/6/15:
Winter has arrived, and this lip balm has been a godsend. I remembered that I had put it in a drawer, and gave it a try overnight. It completely healed my super chapped lips! After exfoliating my lips the following morning, they were healthy and hydrated. I’ve been using this lip balm overnight ever since, and don’t foresee giving it up. I still prefer the other brands listed below during the day, but this is my HG overnight lip balm.

This lip balm is very intensive. While I don’t use this throughout the day, it’s absolute perfection overnight. I have been using La Mer ‘The Lip Balm,” but it just wasn’t enough at night, and left my lips feeling sticky and icky come morning.
I much prefer the texture of La Mer’s Lip Balm which I use at night, and By Terry Baume do Rose which I use throughout the day. Don’t get me wrong – this isn’t a bad lip balm. I just think it’s best used in super cold and dry climates, like a salve. It’s also incredibly overpriced, even more so than the two luxury lip balms I mentioned above. That alone will stop most people in their tracks. Save your Sisley dollars for their incredible facial masks.

I love this lip balm! It has nice ingredients, is mild and scent free. It really moisturises my lips instead of just sitting on top of my lips (like the La Roche Posay Ceralip or MAC lip conditioner). It’s very expensive but a pot last me approx a year. My lips are soft and semi glossy with this on, I use it mostly as a nightly treatment. But also as a light layer under my lipsticks.

This product is a thick balm/treatment that is very expensive. I read a lot of reviews before I finally purchased and the reviews were great. It comes in a pretty frosted pink pot with a little spatula, for those who dislike putting their fingers in the jar. I liked that the consistency is a little on the thicker side, which I had hoped would allow the product to sink in and soften the dry flakey skin. Well, it seemed to take a while to soften, so I would end up rubbing the dry skin and the product off after 10 minutes. Since so many people emphasized that this is a treatment, not something you put on as needed, I limited use to twice a day and it didn’t leave a lasting moisturized feeling. I ended up returning it since it was quite disappointing for such a hefty price tag.
