Meh. It goes on gloppy. It’s very slick feeling and super shine while it lasts. It doesn’t last very long then you need to reapply because your lips feel dry agin.

This product did the exact opposite from what was advertised on the package. I don’t consider my lips particularly sensitive, but I used this lip oil for three days and it made them burn and chap horribly. I had hoped maybe some other factor was causing the discomfort, but after stopping use and switching to a regular lip balm, the difference was clear. I suspect it’s the menthol, since I’ve used tons of coconut oil products and never had a problem before.
I generally like the Yes To products but be careful with this one. The coconut oil balm is a way better choice, in my opinion.

Ok, I like this yet I don’t like it. I love the scent (like coconut ice cream!!) and I like how the oil feels on my lips IF I don’t put too much on. If you put too much on it just feels gooey and oily and you have to take it off and start over (the squeeze tube applicator makes for less-than-precise application in this). There IS menthol, and that provides the ‘cooling’ feature, and I’m ok with that—but I think the menthol dries the lips, which negates any healing properties the coconut oil gives you. This was $4.98 at Walmart, and you get a ton of product, so it’s expensive for a lip treatment but not overly so. I will finish the tube but I will probably not repurchase. I find there are better lip treatments out there for my very dry and somewhat peely lips.

This stuff is just all right. I was hoping it would be this yummy coconut-y treat on the lips, but it is not. I forgot about the “cooling” portion of the oil, which must be menthol based, because I find it highly unpleasant. If this product does smell like coconut in any way, this menthol covers it it up because it’s all I notice. I honestly can’t smell the menthol after the initial application, but I can still feel it upon my lips so it’s just a constant reminder to me of what I don’t like about this product. Other than that, it’s a good product. I like that the oil is more on the thicker side so it doesn’t slide off of my lips when I rub them against each other. I can definitely still feel a layer of it upon my lips and I’ve had it on for about 2 hours now.
The packaging is sleek – a long, slim clear plastic tube filled with the lip oil, also clear. It might be too long to fit into some pant pockets – they don’t fit into my Paige jean front pockets at all – so that might be a downer to some. If you usually carry a purse on you, I think this will fit nicely within it.
Moving forward, I’ll just wear this product at night, after I brush my teeth – hopefully it will mask the menthol oil taste, so I can get my moneys worth and reap the lip oil benefits!
For me, the cons outweigh the pros in regards to this product. I’ll finish the tube, but I will not be repurchasing.
