I use this as a LIPGLOSS. I first bought it to help my dry lips and to wear under lipstick but it was to slippery and lipstick won’t stick to it and it did okay as a remedy to my dry lips nothing special. I have very pigmented lips and because of this I mostly wear matte formulation lipstick to get the most coverage so I wear clear lipgloss on top but with usage the clear tube will change color and start looking icky. This Carmex is so shiny and slippery I thought why not using this on top of my lipstick,and it works. The only downside is the horrible chemical taste if you get it inside your mouth. I might repurchase,we’ll see.

I was using a CG lip stain every day last week and it left my lips feeling really dry and painful. I picked this up at Walmart for $.98 and it works very well. I only got it tonight and already my lips feel much better. The only downside for me is the chemical taste of this stuff when you accidentally get it in your mouth (I applied mine really thick) but otherwise I think it’s a great product. I wouldn’t use it this heavily in public because its really shiny but it works well to repair dry lips when you’re at home / before bed.

i like the strawberry flavored one better but i couldnt find any so i got this. it does smell like cough drops but it does what it says.
cons: comes off too easily, lip gloss like so it doesnt stay long,
