Natural, organic, fair trade…its even gluten free! But all that aside, I was just looking for a good lip balm while perusing my local health food store…and this is pretty dang good. Feels a bid hard/dry when you first touch it to your lips but it softens up with the heat of your skin. Very creamy with a good glide, smells nice-although not the usual vanilla smell I’m used to-I prefer the Burts Bees vanilla bean scent. I find this to be a good balm for before bed or for winter or if you have super dry lips…but it can feel a bit thick if you’re just looking for a bit of moisture that absorbs quickly. I’m used to lighter balms and I find myself always rubbing my lips together when I have this on so I don’t find it ideal for daytime/work etc. This seems pricey-I bought mine for about $6 CDN- but it is a huge tube so its a pretty good deal

Moisturizing, natural formula in a yummy scent – definitely a keeper.
To anyone complaining about the price of this balm – do some math! These sticks are .25 ounces, whereas most lip balm sticks (Chapstick, Burt’s Bees, etc) are only .15 ounces, so of course they cost more than smaller sticks from other brands. Also, you’re paying for high-quality, organic ingredients and a USA-made product.

I’m obsessed with Chapsticks so when I found this I was in heaven. I love the larger size, the smell, the feel, and that it is natural. I always keep one in my room, one in my bathroom, and one in my bag. Love it!!!

This balm isn’t bad at all. I was lured in by the USDA Organic and Fair Trade label initially. The ingredients are generally healthy and natural and, quite frankly, I like the company policies and practices. That aside, I’d wanted to try Badger lip balm for awhile, but couldn’t easily justify the price.
I’m not a shoestring budget by any means, but shelling out that much $$ for a balm when I have loads of unfinished ones didn’t seem practical. I gave in to the urge, however, and was not disappointed. The Cocoa Butter Vanilla Bean type now has a permanent place in my purse and gets frequent use. I can honestly say I’ll likely use this entire tube before recycling the container. That’s a rarity for me, by the way.
It actually lives up to the moisturizing effects likely because of the concentrated cocoa butter. Only problem is that once it wears off, the moisturization factor doesn’t remain. You really do need to continuously apply this for the full effect.
overall, a good product and I’ll purchase again….in different flavors. 🙂

Review is for the mint cocoa butter balm. Best moisture, duration, and health quality for the dollar ever! I like better than balms I’ve used for 5-10x more cost.

I bought this in July and have been hooked ever since! This is by far the best organic lipbalm I’ve ever paid for! It’s creamy, sinks in nicely, it doesn’t feather over my lipline and smells just like milk chocolate! I can also use it on my eyes as a night balm and on my nose when I have dry skin bits from Retin-A. I bought this in a trio for around 20$, which is not cheap, but I do love the fact that they’re completely organic! I couldn’t find the colored versions and the reviews made me not want to look for them 😛 so I just melt a bit of this with the tiniest drop of mac lipmix in Crimson and voilà! Perfect lipcolor for summer.

This lip balm is really moisturizing and healing, perfect for dry, chapped, sore lips. It’s ridiculously inexpensive, the best budget-friendly lip balm I’ve tried, by far.
However, the scent, while pleasant in the beginning, made me almost nauseaus after a while.

This balm was such a disappointment. I expected such good things and was sure this wouldn’t mess with my uber sensitive lips, but it was just too rough on them. Even applying was unpleasant as I felt like the balm “drug” across my dry lips. Then while on my lips I felt this (not as bad as Blistex), but this subtle sting. Yet another lip balm fail. Look like I will have to stick with my Neutrogena lip balm.

I bought this about a month ago. I was looking for a natural, effective, small list of ingredients list lip balm. I already tried Yes to Carrots (which I love as well) so I wanted to go for something different.
I was at Ulta and came across the Badger brand. I had never tried anything by them but have always been curious to. The lipbalm was $5.00. That’s definitely more than I usually drop for a lip balm but the packaging was bigger than normal lip balms and it was natural/organic, so I said “what the heck. I’ll give it a try!” I picked out the vanilla bean one because it sounded the most appealing.
Let me tell you, I love this lip balm! It smells so good and glides on smoothly. I feel good about putting it on my lips because the ingredients are so natural and organic.
I will definitely buy this again when this is gone. But it’s going to take a while for this bad boy to be empty!

Hard at first, then softens up and is a great lip balm. It smells amazing! more like hot chocolate than vanilla 🙂
