Dried my lips out and caused skin to flake off…Colour and shine did not last more than a few minutes.

I love Physicians Formula products but I found these to be very drying. After about 5-10 mins of application, my lips get so dry they feel like they’re about to crack and I have to apply it again. This reapplication cycle goes on until I get some lip balm. I will say that my lips have literally been addicted to chapstick ever since I used Accutane in my late teens..so that may have something to do with it. But over all, I think this stuff sucks. I keep it in my drawer at work for emergencies. It’s my last resort.

I bought these on a whim from WalMart just to see what they’d do. Instead of using them as a lip gloss, I use them under a thick coating of A&D ointment before a shower or facial treatment like a peel, or before bedtime if my lips are feeling a bit dry and need some pampering. Also have used them under the Laneige Lip Mask and it works very nicely.
If I could get the “clear” version in a duo or on its own I’d rebuy in an instant.

I love this Physicians Formula Argan Wear lip oil. The tubes are cute, and the angled tip applicator easy to use. I use this to soften my lips, not as a gloss. I put this on before I apply my makeup, and when it’s time to do my lips I wipe it off and my lips are soft and smooth. I use this at night before bed and my lips are soft in the morning. If I think my lips are chapped and need softening at any time I use this. The only reason I ever use anything else is I love trying new products, but I still use this 90% of the time. I always shop sales for Physicians Formula. Not because I don’t think that PF products are worth it, but because there is always a sale of some sort on PF, as well as coupons, bonus gifts with purchase and often rebates. I have already bought backup tubes of this lip oil, and as much as I use this it takes quite awhile to get though a tube.

the product squeezes out too easily, making it very messy.
i like the idea of a lip oil, but this is just a miss because it’s not moisturizing at all for an oil.
I like the sheen it gives off when applying but also wears off quickly, and it also has a nice minty feeling.

cute packaging but is very easy to squeeze out too much. i bought the argan oil and this was packaged as a bonus product. it is kind of moisturizing but not particularly more than a lip balm, imo. the thing i love most is the subtle sheen it provides, and it dries pretty quickly. i dont smell a fragrance in this product, but when applying, it has a slight minty feel to it that i also like.

The packaging suckered me in. These look very cute and in theory, seem like a good product.
The smell is delicious: sweet coconut/suntan oil/beachy/yummy
Gives a nice glow to the lips, kind of a sheer sheen that’s not sticky
But I found them to be drying – it almost “evaporates” on your lips within the hour, pulling whatever moisture (the product’s and your own) out and away. I find you can somewhat eliminate this if you put a layer of Vaseline or similar protective layer over top. (not worth the extra work when there’s much better products out there)
This duo was $11.63 at Walmart – super over-priced (!) seeing as that Castor Seed oil is the 1st ingredient. :-/
Crappy product packaged adorably.

Was free as a gift with purchase bundled package. Glad I didn’t pay for it because although the packaging is really pretty and the tubes were nice and slim, the actual product was just mediocre. One tube was gold and the other was pink. They are light weight and moisturize a bit but not as much I thought they would. They are super shiny but are not long lasting. They do not impart much color but that is okay. Typically I use them at night after I use my homemade, all natural lip scrub. I don’t use them during the day because I would have to reapply a million times throughout the day to keep my lips hydrated plus I prefer color lip products that blend with my makeup look. I will certainly use them up but would not repurchase.
