I am nc20 nw20 neutral fair skin. This can make me look muddy and weird if paired with a clear gloss because i cant pull off brown liners because i am on the fair end of light. I dont reach for this as much because it washed me out in an ashy brown way. formula is good though, I always invested in mac and nars lip liners but honestly nyx is just as good and less than half the price. Ulta has sales buy one get one half off so its around 4 dollars for one instead of mac 18 dollars per liner and back to mac does not include their liners. Nyx is where the liners are at ladies.
Edit- i tried out Stripdown by mac and hated it. It looked so brown and reminded me of this one. I guess i cant do brown liners. I am c1 nc20
i wouldnt repurchase because i initially bought this to try out a brown liner and i realized it just looks weird on my skintone. this is a dupe for stripdown by mac. I didnt want to dish out 20 dollars for mac or nars so nyx is great to test out colors since they have all kinds of dupable ones.
edit- i found how to make this work, using this all over the lips gives me a weird ashy muddy look but i started to fill my lip with nyx nude suede shoe liner(nude pink peach) then pop nude beige only on the bottom center of my lips and the upper corners of my lips for a contoured lip look. it makes my lips look a lot bigger. it sounds crazy to be using 2 liners but i couldnt return this so i might as well make it work. this is a great shadow contour color for lips not so much as a lipliner to line the whole lip for my skintone.

For reference I’m NC35-ish dark chocolate hair, hazel eyes and not so pigmented lips.
NYX lip liners are in my top 3 brands as far as lip liners go. This color is an amazing grey-toned nude liner that works very well with cool-toned/browny nudes that are oh-so-popular for the 2014 Fall/Winter season.
I wore this liner all over my lips underneath Maybelline’s Crazy for Coffee, lightly blotted, and received compliments on how nice it looked. I feel this shade really sculpts my lips without looking fake or overdone.

A perfect nude pencil. This does not have red or orange tones, as some “nude” pencils do, but a grey base. This is great for outlining and filling in lips completely before putting on a pale nude. This is one of those pencils that I have purchased 3 or 4 times. It’s hard to find a good drugstore nude pencil that isn’t orange, and this is wonderful. Applies smoothly, does not drag and is not dry. At only $3.49 this is such a wonderful beauty deal! I use this every day.

I love it. It gives my lips definition and a pretty nude effect. I could add gloss or a cute lipstick on top and be ready to go.

I normally use this with my nude lipsticks since I have small lips. Good color pay off. It is a beige with a greyish undertone. I might also purchase another more brown beige liner but this one is great.

This is one of those products that I probably have one of in each room of the house. I have full lips, but they aren’t perfect , often it’s like the edges lose definition making my mouth look smaller. Yet when I try to fill them in with a lipliner it looks like too much, like I’ve been overdrawing my lips. This is the perfect lip liner for me, because it creates natural definition. It has this slight greyish brown undertone that ladies with genetically gifted large lips (think Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie) have around the edges of their mouth.

This is a fantastic MLBB gray/pink/nude/brown lip liner very VERY similar to my beloved Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium. In fact, I find it very hard to justify spending $25 dollars on the Flesh Tone pencil when I know this one exists. :/. The only difference between the two, is Kevyn’s pencil is slightly warmer in tone and more pigmented, hence lasts longer. I honestly prefer the Nyx Nude Beige color – it just doesn’t have the lasting power, being slightly more waxy and less color intensive.
Definitely worth a try ladies. I’m one of those gals who likes to draw slightly outside the lines and this color goes with everything and makes my lips look fuller without being overdone.
