So far, this is my hg red lip liner, it’s nice and bright, and the formula really stays on without getting gross.

Love it. Have been using it for years and always get complimented on the brightness of the colour. I was once asked by two girls in a bar what it was- I went back to the same bar a few months later to find both girls wearing it and coming running over to me to tell me how they went the next day, bought it and haven’t stopped wearing it since! In fact, most of their girlfriends had also bought it and loved it too. It makes me really happy to wear it and brightens up any lipstick 🙂

The most epic orange/red lip liner ever! I bought this several weeks ago while in Manhattan. I use it primarily with Mac Ruby Woo but it can be used by itself. Man oh man is it a statement lip. Everybody stops and stares. I am a chocolate girl -MAC NW45 for reference with substantial lips so if I have something on them that is not understated people take notice. I love this! Just try the combo. I will certainly be repurchasing when I run out.

A great lip liner. I use it behind most of my warm reds, oranges and pinks. A little surprised at how orange it is considering its name is REDD, but otherwise great. I don’t know how much it cost because I stole it from my mom(she doesn’t really wear lipstick) but considering it is MAC it probably hurts a little.

Great lipliner from Mac. Most of the lipliners I use are from Mac. I have very sensitive lips and mouth and these liners never cause me trouble. They have reasonably simple ingredients which make them a good choice for me with my chemical sensitivities. I use Redd with my lighter red shades even with pinky or orangey tones and it performs well. It may sometimes cause a slight feathering on the upper lip but not a problem that can not be solved with a primer or a matt lip balm underneath it. I find that it works particularly well with Beauty Without Cruelty lipstick in Rosehip. For reference I have light to medium olive skin with yellow undertones, slightly darker in summer and dark eyes. Mac select cover up shade NC30.

It is a great matte orange toned pencil. Comes in a traditional packaging: wooden one that enables to sharpen the pencil well. The pencil can be paired up with any orange based red lipstick and won’t let it bleed. Can easily be used on its own as it is not too drying. The pigmentation is just superb.

I really like MAC lip liners, and this is a great one. It is a really pigmented, matte, slightly orange toned red. It goes good with any orange toned, neutral, or red toned lipstick though. I also have Cherry lip liner and I switch between the two with different red lipsticks for the look I’m going for.

I bought this with my Russian Red lipstick, and I can’t imagine ever wearing it without having this pencil as a base! It might not be the creamiest around, but it lasts like a charm through meals and drinks. Its slightly drying, so I’m not sure it would work out as well on its own, but its nothing that having a lip balm as a base won’t fix. But heck, with the lasting power this has, I can handle a little dryness.

This lip liner goes best with my MAC Ruby Woo lipstick. I know many like to use MAC Cherry lip liner with Ruby Woo, which I tried too. But Redd gives me more true red (a little orange-based) lips, which suits my olive skin tone much better. It’s more warm toned. Redd + Ruby Woo-combination looks like MAC Lady Danger’s red, but slightly less orange; very subtle. It’s definitely my favorite red.

This is a must-have for red lip lovers with yellow undertones. This is a perfect match for orangey reds like MAC Lady Danger and So Chaud, and I am even able to use it with more neutral reds like Russian Red. Not sure why Redd lipliner is overlooked, but I believe it’s a versatile, beautiful creamy orangey red that looks good even on its own.
