So Too Faced completely changed the color and formula for the new perfect nude lip liner. The original pencil was perfection. Now the new “nude” color makes me look dead. Nude= the color of your lips. Beige= the color of this pencil. This change was a mistake. Too Faced, please bring back the old pencil! What were you thinking?! Major disappointment.

UPDATE 2016: I have bought another of this one at Sephora and with my big disappointment they have changed the color!!! it is paler now and pinkier and it makes me look dead!!!! They didn’t change anything of the automatic pen packaging so I was lead to think that it was the same but on my lips it looked different. At home I have compared it with the old one and the difference was very apparent. Why do they do that? Will never buy again.
This is the new automatic lip liner so you don’t need sharpening and there is no waste of product.
The Perfect Nude colour is a light beige rose, leaning more on the rosy side, and will show up only on very fair to medium-fair complexion. NW20/25 may be already too dark unless you like the very pale lips look. The old lip liner was slightly deeper in colour.
On its own it is very long lasting but every lip product on the top will affect its longevity. It offers a very nice base for many lipsticks, glosses or balms because it is so neutral in colour and because it stops them from feathering.
No sure if I will repurchase it as I also want to try Estee Lauder Stay in Place lip liners now that they have more natural shades.
UDATE: My big complaint is that there is not much product inside. After few months of not daily and not heavy use it finished!!!

I have this in Perfect Nude and it is the perfect shade for my skin tone!
Since my lips are quite dark naturally, I couldn’t find a nude shade that looked nice on me. But this is great, not too brown like other nudes, looks more pinky-mauve on me, just perfect!! And it doesn’t look washed off on my medium to dark skin! I usually wear it alone with a lip balm so it doesn’t dry out my lips.
My only complaint is that I think they have slightly changed the color along with the new packaging. Not anything too obvious, but I believe the old pencil was a bit more pinkish..
