Edit 3/7/2016: This lip liner’s positive review stands firm. I don’t recall much, if any, bleeding of my lipsticks while using this liner. The only negative, and this isn’t even entirely positive the liner is the culprit- was a small pimple/more blackheads around my lips. I cannot say for certain if it was this product caused the issue. The problem has since healed and hasn’t recurred. Overall, I’m a fan of this liner! Great product.
This is a first impression review of Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Universal Transparent lip liner.
*I was actually looking for reviews I couldn’t find, so I added this product to the data base!*
This is the liner that could replace all liners! If you want your lip liner to perfectly match your pouts shade, this will do that for you.
Obviously, you can’t see the liner when it goes on. This should be no surprise. It seems to be a wax stick of some kind, which is likley what most liners are made of. Simply, there’s no pigment in this liner. It looks white, but goes on clear. This is not a pencil, but rather a tube which is turned up and down.
My first thought is this is a perfect idea to put into my makeup bag, but we’ll see how it stands in a later update!
The price was about $6 at a big retail store which makes it cheaper than some other drug store brands. I do wish there was more actual lip liner in the tube.
