The mini liners look very cute. Each body-color matches exactly the color of the pencil, and the color pay-off is great. But, unfortunately, that is all that is good about them. The formula desperately needs improvement. It doesn’t glide seamlessly; it lives little sand-like looking particles. The lasting power is bad, especially if topped with the lipgloss. The pencil moves and smears. Just no.

A total unexpected happy surprise for me. I love these. Wonderful color payoff, I don’t have any issues with these settling in lip lines nor drying my lips, no weird changing of color as the day goes on. I also like that they are travel size. I never seem to work through a full size lip liner anyway, so this works really well for me. And the price? Even more nice!!! I have 2 of these and more on the way from Sephora.. I do sort of wish they had more variety of colors, there seem to be a lot of pinks and browns. But they look, apply and perform quite nicely!! ❤️❤️

I don’t usually wear lip liner but wanted one to wear underneath a glossier lip color to keep it in place. This was relatively cheap at $6 (and I prefer having less pencil so it won’t take me years to use it up).
This is richly pigmented but glides on smoothly. It doesn’t feel dry and hard like lip liners I’ve tried in the past. It actually looks and performs more like a rich, matte lipstick than a lip liner. So it will wear off a little more easily but it feels much more comfortable to wear.
I outlined my lips and filled them in with “Fresh Berry”, which is a vivid, berry red, then topped with Revlon’s Colorburst Balm Stain in Crush. The result was a beautifully bright, berry red lip that lasted all night despite eating, drinking and kissing (it was New Year’s!). My lip color largely stayed in place & didn’t go everywhere like a traditional lipstick would, but felt more comfortable than a long-wearing lip color. It also faded evenly so I didn’t look like a clown by the end of the night.
Now I’m tempted to pick up a few more of these!

These mini lip liners from Sephora are very good and only $6. They are easy to apply and they fill in very well. Some people might dislike that they do not feel dry, which is good for keeping your lips moisturized, but might create too much slip if you are applying a lipstick on top of it. On a specific note, the liner I bought is aubergine, but the color is redder than I would expect for a product labeled “aubergine”.

This only costs $6 USD, so it’s hard to complain too much about it. Yes, it’s a mini pencil, but when is the last time you used up an entire lip liner? Basically, it’s your everyday lip liner. My only qualm about it is that it is moisturizing, possibly to the point of having too much slip. I am worried that it will sink into lip lines or not hold my more slippery/moisturizing lipsticks on my lips. I’ve only tested this out briefly (I generally don’t wear lipsticks and lip liners most days, so I don’t know when I’ll have the chance to give a heavy duty test) and it did fine. I can see this being a concern for some, though.
