This is a really nice lip liner, have been enjoying it. The texture is a bit dry but not dragging on the lips. Great light peachy nude color on my fair skin and amazing inexpensive.

This is my go to MLBB day lip product. It doesn’t last all that long, but at the price point and considering the way it looks on, I really don’t mind. I’m happy to keep applying it all day!
It applies easily and blends seamlessly into my natural lip colour, allowing me to overline my lips a little to give them a plumper look. I don’t use it all over. Think of it like a brow pencil for your lips. Defining and filling in the gaps.

The only wonderful thing is the price, $2 at Target. This is not retractable but for the price, I am okay with that. The pencil is very hard and must be warmed up prior to applying or it will pull at the skin on your lips. The first time it glided on fine, on me this is long lasting, but a bit drying on the lips. The color is nude, but it is more dark pink, but fine under lipstick. It helped to keep lips matte, but they were so dry atbthe end of the day. I prefer Revlon colorstay.
The second time I tried this, it burned my lips and they were swollen. Not really sure about this allergic reaction, but I won’t be using this lipliner again. Back to the store, since I bought more than one. Such a great price!

Generally I am a fan of Essence products. Typically they are inexpensive and high quality but this lip liner is a bit of a disappoinment to me.
While the name is “In the Nude” it is actually more orangish on me. My skin tone is pale with pink undertones and my lips are quite pink. This liner looks very orange with my overall complexion, not a nude at all on me.
I also have some difficulty getting this to apply smoothly on my lip line. It skips a little and doesn’t give a smooth line as with other lip liners I have tried. In the Nude isn’t particularly long lasting either so I find frequent reapplication necessary.
Despite the fact that this isn’t a true nude IMO and doesn’t look good with my skin tone, it is well pigmented. The packaging is the typical liner pencil with a cap that requires sharpening. There is nothing unique about the pencil and it is the standard lip liner packaging.
I purchased this liner at Ulta for $1.99 plus tax. That is a reasonable price but not worth the cost to me because I do not like this liner very well and don’t reach for it often. I would not repurchase. I much prefer the WnW lip liners for a bargain buy.
