I don’t know if I got a funky product, but (on me) this liner balls up under different lipsticks. The consistency on my lips is almost sticky after application and I tend to fill in my lips with my liner rather then just lining the edges. Then I top with a lipstick.
I experimented with drugstore to high end lipsticks that work on me when used alone, but once I put any lip product on top of this it moves around and balls up. The transfer is insane!
Given my experience, I can’t recommend this even with the appealingly low price!

When it comes to lip liners, I can’t imagine it gets much better than this. This has perfect smooth texture, matte finish, and a wonderful slanted tip. The package clicks closed. The color I chose, Epic, is a warm dark nude shade. It had excellent staying power. So far ice tried it with NYC creamy caramel and it looked perfect, by itself with a balm or gloss it’s perfect, and today I tried it with Revlon color balm (the red shade, candy apple) and it darkened up that color a bit and turned out a sort of “brick muted coral” shade which looked awesome, and wore off into a beautiful MLBB color. Love love love this very versatile liner. Highly recommend it and will certainly repurchase!

I bought this today and I’m already so in love with it! the color is such a beautiful 90s brownish shade, and I love it how it looks on its own all over the lips. On my opinion it’s a dupe for my beloved Estée Lauder lip liner in “spice”, both formula and color are identical. Love love love

Best lipliner I have tried. The packaging is what makes it so cool – you never need to sharpen it and just twist it out of the pen when you need more. The shape of the pen makes sure you always have an angled lipliner. Well done Rimmel!
I have the colour ‘Epic’ because it is neutral and will compliment most skin tones, it also goes well with my favourite daytime lipstick. In fact this lipliner can be worn by itself with a bit of lipgloss; I have used it like that when I had forgotten my lipstick and it works just fine.
It’s a bit sticky but not more or less than most lipsticks I have tried! Its also long-lasting and doesn’t dry my lips out.

Love the lip color but I’m not crazy about the formula. When I apply it, it feels like it never quite sets. It feels sticky and will transfer easily. I only like it with a lipstick on top

This was one of the first lip liners I ever used and I always go back to it. I’m in love with the matte look so I use this all over my lips. It looks so great on me and I always get compliments on it. My lips are a bit darker than this lip liner, but you would never know because it looks so natural. I use it for an everyday look especially in the summer. It is bit drying sometimes so I suggest putting lip balm underneath. Also, with lip balm, you can use less and still get a rich color. I find using it without lip balm requires me to use more and makes the color look too peachy.

I love this color, it’s slightly darker than my natural lip color and it goes on creamy. I usually blend it on my lips and it stays for hours, I love the matte lip look so this is perfect to accomplish that
