I’ve been using Wet n Wild lip liners (and eye liners) since I was in junior high school when I had little money, and as an adult, I tried all kinds of others and never saw much difference. I’ve always been a huge fan of the matte look, and lip liners are a great way to achieve that. Just dab a bit of lip balm (not too much) for slippage and fill in your lips. Et voila! So when I saw the new colors at Rite Aid during the sale, I picked both up. This one looks like brick red until you put it on. It really is a nice fuchsia. This new formula is softer than the old. I don’t even think you need any balm at all to put this on. The best part is the price. It was on sale for 3/$2, AND I had a 50 cent coupon. So I ended up getting 6 items for $1 before tax. Woo hoo!.

I somehow lost my MAC Magenta lipliner. Don’t ask me how. But I remember I bought Wet ‘n Wild 664C Fab Fuchsia quite a while ago and decided to give it a try with MAC Show Orchid. And yes-it was fabulous. Just perfect. A creamy color intense lip liner that wore beautifully throughout the day. I put my makeup on at 6:00 am and I didn’t get home until 8:00 pm on Friday and that’s a true test of the performance of the makeup I happen to use that day. So…..that being said I do have to admit something that I have been denying for years-a lot of the makeup I have purchased (and I buy a lot of based on the reviews on MUA-I can trust you girls!) is just as good as products that cost 10 times more. Just like Wet ‘n Wild Coverall Cream foundation-makes my skin look amazing and I am 57 years old. Older and smarter? Older for sure – smarter? don’t know about that but I am learning at this age that I can look just as good with some products that cost very little. However, with that being said I still love MAC lipstick and eyeshadows but I am very open to trying products that don’t cause financial hardship!!! And believe me, there was a time in my life that I would never have bought anything but the very best. Live and learn! xoxo

I bought this on a whim thinking that it would be great as a lip stain with some gloss or balm. The color looked similar to Love My Lips lipliner in pink, also very useful as a lip stain. In this case I guess right becausew this pencil performs well as an all-over lip product. It is dry so something is required first on the lips. I just rub in my sunblock and I also tried a thin layer of LA Colors lipgloss in Flirty either under or over the liner. This pencil goes on smoothly, wears off eveny and really lasts. It is a deep pink color, but not garish. I really like pencil-as-a-stain in summer because my face is shiny and sunblock makes it worse. Lip pencil works better than a shiny lip product that only adds to the greasy look.
I would buy this again. It really performs like a much more expensive product.

I purchased this today because I can’t go into a store that sells makeup and not buy anything 🙂 but I have wanted a fuchsia colored lip liner or something in the color scheme for a awhile. I was contemplating buying Mac magenta lip liner but I like to exhaust all my options before spending money on certain makeup items, especially lip liner.
With that being said, I LOVE THIS LIPINER. and It was a freakn $1. I have tried a lot of cheap LIPLINERS and I have a few Mac ones as well, but this is color says fuchsia and it is! It goes on so smooth! And it has saying power! OH, and it’s a freakn $1. I have nothing bad to say about this. Not sure if all the liners by wet n wild are this smooth but I am in love. My Mac ones aren’t this creamy.
It doesn’t not make ur lips look cakey, or leave patches of color in certain areas. It blends out perfectly. Doesn’t accentuate chap or dry lips. If ur into pinks I would say go for this. Hope this helps 🙂

This is a wonderful lip liner. It’s very smooth. Both the handle/stick and the product feel nice. It’s very cheap too. I paired this liner with Wet N’ Wild lipstick, 521A and it look’s wonderful. It seems like it would blend in with numerous shades of red or pink.

These were 2 for a dollar so I decided to try them out, even tho I have never worn fuchsia in my life. I tried it with a clear gloss over it and a bright mauve shimmery gloss over it and it gives me beautiful fuchsia red lips. Really a perfect fuchsia color — not too bright.
I did notice that this was a lot creamier than the other lipliner I bought from WNW, which was #715, so the quality varies but I was happy with the price I paid for them. Obviously, these are not as good as Rimmel, much less Clinique which are 1500% more money but if you rarely use lipliners like moi, they will fulfill your needs. I just wish WNW had a better color range. A lot of the shades were a variation of plum.

Wet n Wild Creme Lipliner in 664C Fab Fuchsia
This is a fantastic lipliner! It goes on really creamy, lasts on the lip and has a really pigmented color payoff. This only cost me $0.99 at the drugstore and is the same quality I would expect from a more expensive brand. However, the other lipliners from this brand don’t all have the same consistency.
The pencil is pretty long, so you get a lot of product for the price. My only problem with this is that the pencil looks like a dark plum shade, whereas the actual product is a bright, loudmouth fuchsia.
Since the liner is so pigmented, you can pretty much use it as a fuchsia lipstick and top it off with a little gloss. I use a thin layer underneath my nude-ish lipsticks just to brighten up the color.
Super versatile. Go buy it and have some fun!

Great WnW product! It’s affordable and could be applied for any pink lip color. I highly recommend!

This is a great color for wet n wild, on my lips its a pink fuschia but very toned down and elegant looking. The texture is very smooth and non-greasy, while the wearibility is good for the price (as long as you won’t be doing any kissing in this) overall this is my fave lip color at the moment, and my bf loves it to!

This is a standard WnW .99 cent lip liner pencil. It is very long (too long to fit into your purse) and has to be sharpened. The color is a medium pink, and I use this to line my lips for every color of lipstick I own (from red to peach). It is a very versatile color and long lasting. It’s not the smoothest lip liner, but that is what makes the staying power premium. I can’t stand to sharpen this, b/c I haven’t found a sharpener that doesn’t eat the liner. The WnW sharpener eats liners. I’m going to try MAC sharpener. I will buy again.
