tried this in ozone in hopes it could replace my other lip liners. I thought it could be the “universal lip liner” for any lipstick, liquid lipstick, etc. Big nope. this didnt compare to colored lip liners. I didnt like how it didnt define my lips, even when sharpened, and the lip liners I used prevented feathering, so i didnt see a significant difference with ozone. I knew you could use it as a lip primer as well, but i didnt really care for that. returned it, but had no issues with packaging.

Wow! I used this and it stayed put w/ no feathering from my favorite origins lipstick (Primrose) almost all day (5-6 hours)! So pleased!!!! My problem is the slight feathering taking place when I wear any color lipstick with my normal colored lip liner. It’s brutal! Even w/ regular lip liners feather occurs! Not with ozone! This is the first one that kept the lipstick in the lines and not around my mouth. Hooray!!! Wish it were self sharpening/retractable!!

Ahh aging, you go to look in the mirror and realize your lipstick has bleed on to your chin and you suddenly realize you are no longer young. I’ve tried lip liner before ages ago and never liked it. The formulas were always too dry and I could rarely find lipstick and liner that matched exactly.
I’ve only used shadows and primers from UD, so this was my first venture into their lip products. The formulas is very soft and creamy and does not tug on the lips. It goes on clear and is undetectable. I found that this did help my lipstick wear longer, but only helped a little to prevent bleeding. I’m on the fence with this, the primary reason I bought it was to keep my lipcolor from bleeding which is does not do. I do like that it makes my lipstick wear longer.
Also I would prefer this as a retractable pencil, sharpening feels so wasteful.

Until I found this pencil, I never wore lip liner. I was afraid of looking like I escaped from a mid-2000s reality television show set, with my lips being two different colors, with a really obvious outline. And then I bought a lipstick that I really liked the color of, but it had a problem where it would bleed off my lips and I’d look like the Joker. A friend of mine suggested getting a clear lip liner to prevent this from happening. This happened to be the only clear lip liner I could find, so I decided to give it a try.
It really works! I use it if I want to wear a lipstick that tends to bleed, by first outlining my lips then filling them in with the pencil as a primer, then I apply the lipstick. It keeps my lipstick in place and reduce the need for a touch-up.
The only complaint I have with this stuff is that it wears down rather quickly- I have to sharpen it every time I use it, which means I’ll likely to have to repurchase fairly often.

Great product. I use it as a liner to prevent feathering with lighter shades of lipstick and I use it all over the lips for darker shades. It keeps the lipstick from settling into the lines on my lips and makes it last twice as long. I don’t have to worry about reapplying lipstick when I have this lip pencil on. I also love that I don’t have to worry about matching my lip pencil to my lipstick. This really is a universal pencil that works will any shade.

I LOVE Urban Decay. This is the first product of theirs that I’m giving a negative review. The Ozone pencil is their clear lip liner, supposed to be used as a “primer” or base for any color lipstick and also to line outside your lips to prevent feathering. It’s useless. It is super soft and smooshy, doesn’t help the lipstick stay on, nor does it prevent feathering, even an UD lipstick. Very disappointing.
