I have been watching Tanya Burr on YouTube for a few years now and was very excited to purchase some of her lip glosses!
I bought the colours ‘Aurora’, ‘First Date’, ‘Smile,Dream, Sparkle’,’Exotic Island’, ‘Lets Travel the World’, ‘Vampire Kiss’ and they all have fantastic pigmentation. I most definitely will be purchasing more from her collection.
Colours/Pigmentation:
Aurora is a mid tone pink with some sparkles. I find this a very flattering and girly colour.
First Date is a milky, light pink. There are very tiny sparkles in it but once on the lips you cannot see them. It is a very opaque, creamy colour.
Smile, Dream, Sparkle is a very sparkly, sheer pink colour that is perfect if you’re after a natural look. If you dislike sparkles or glitter in lipgloss, stay away from this one.
Exotic Island is a hot pink with a tint of purple. It is a beautiful vibrant shade and has excellent pigmentation. Perfect for spring/summer.
Lets Travel the World is a gorgeous vibrant coral/red. The ultimate summer lip colour.
Vampire Kiss is a flattering opaque red that you can make as sheer or bold as you want. Very unique to have such a pigmented red in a gloss.
Packaging:
The lip glosses come in very sleek, sturdy packaging, very girly and classy looking.On the side it has Tanya Burr’s name and a little pink heart on the lid. I think it is fantastic quality for the price.
Formula:
The formula is probably one of the best gloss formulas I have tried; it is thick, creamy and long lasting. It is slightly sticky but what lip gloss isn’t? It is very hydrating and moisturising, my lips felt in better condition after using this.
Scent:
The scent is very sweet and candy like, to me it smells like strawberry laces. I really love this scent but if you dislike sweet scented glosses, you probably will not be a fan.
Overall, Tanya has created an amazing lip gloss collection that is budget friendly and has a range of beautiful shades. Once I purchase more colours, I will add more to this review. I highly recommend you try these out!
