I purchased a set of 3 from Sephora as people were saying these were worth the high price as they are super smooth glosses with a sheen and NO shimmer or glitter pieces. Well they all have obvious glitter that feels rough and highly irritating on my sensitive lips. The gloss quickly wears away leaving chunks of shiny glitter on my lips which ends up everywhere. They are NOT holographic, just glittery, so they fail the name claim. I don’t think they are any different than any other cheap glittery lip gloss (especially the 2 sheer ones) and are not worth even on 50% off sale.
The names are confusing, they all have the same name just the numbers are different. Opaline Kiss 04 is a permanent shade. A pigmented muted raspberry red with gold glitters. Gorgeous and worth purchasing if your lips aren’t sensitive to glitter but its not that long lasting. Opaline Kiss 07 is a limited edition purple with blue glitters. Not worth the price as its semi sheer and doesn’t last. Opaline Kiss 08 is a limited edition very sheer pink with baby pink glitters. Not worth the price as its very sheer and doesn’t last.
I will go back to Estee Lauder for my next glitter lipgloss. Last Christmas I purchased one from Estee Lauder that was very pigmented and lasting, and the shimmer was so fine and soothing on my lips I couldn’t feel any glitter or even microshimmer at all.
