This is a really nice lip gloss stain. It doesn’t dry out my lips and the stain lasts almost all day for me. Can’t complain about the price, either 🙂 I’d have to say that this color (Mango Tango) is a really bright coral that was a bit too much for me (I usually stick to MLBB). I think I’ll pick up another one in a MLBB color and mix them.
My only complaint is the packaging. To dispense it, you literally have to click it 100 times (no joke–I thought it was defective) and then all of a sudden it came oozing out.

I love this lip stain! It was 50% off at CVS, so I paid about $4 for it. The colour, if you apply too much, can be really bright, beware of that, a little goes a long way. The colour is bright and opaque, it’s got a nice shine, but then it turns into a stain. I got 6+ hours of wear out of it. It isn’t drying, but it’s not really moisturizing either. It is sticky and wet for a while though, it will get on everything. I love the built in brush, makes for easy application and precise lining. Great product!

Not only is this a lip gloss, it’s a stain – to quote Milani, it’s a ‘lasting & moisturizing gloss stain’. And I have to most certainly agree that it is.
Milani Power Lip comes in a small plastic coral coloured tube, it’s about 3 inches in length. It is very lightweight, in that cheap drugstore cosmetic packaging sort of way, but considering I paid around $6 usd for this, I’m not complaining, especially since the cap securely snaps on/off. This product comes with a brush applicator and in order to distribute the product you must twist the tube (click!) and the lip gloss/stain appears within the brush – it’s just like the stila lip stain pens.
I’ve only had this product for less than a week, but I can tell you it’s my new fave go to summer lip product. It’s a bright coral colour that I see working on many skin tones. Additionally, the stain that it leaves behind is similar: a face brightenibg coral. The gloss itself is creamy and opaque and you don’t have to use much at all to get full coverage. I believe the products full coverage results in an even lip stain that gets left behind after the gloss wears off.
As for it being moisturizing…well, it’s not drying as I notice many other lip stains to be. Honestly, it’s not a problem for me because I use Burts Bees coconut pear chapstick daily so my lips are in great shape. I also apply it to my lips over this product (the residual stain, not the gloss) and have no problems with moisture level within my lips.
All in all, this is a great drugstore product. Based on my initial experience with the Mango Tango, I’m anxious to try another colour, most likely the red one, the next time I head over to my local drugstore.
