I freaking LOVE this lip gloss. I’ve never worn purple on my lips before & this color is perfect. It’s sheer enough to where I consider this shade to be more wearable than it is bold; however, (for a lip gloss) it’s wonderfully pigmented. The color doesn’t translate to berry or anything once applied to the lips (as I often see in swatches of violet glosses.) It comes across as dark purple, just not as opaque as it appears in the tube.
The formulation isn’t uncomfortable or too sticky. The doe foot applicator makes for easy application. I only have to pull it out of the tube once & the amount of product on the wand is sufficient enough to fill in the entire area of my lips. There is a sweet smell to these glosses but it’s not noticeable after application. There are six shades to this LE “Back to School” 2016 collection. I highly recommend these if you see one(s) you like & you don’t mind wearing gloss. For $1.99 you can’t go wrong.
