About 4-5 years ago, these glosses were all the rage but somehow I forgot about them. However, recently, I picked one up from the BSS and was reminded of why they were so popular. They are the closest glosses to the MAC lipglass formula, but more opaque, cheaper, and made with decent ingredients. These cost about 2.99 and come in an assortment of colors. My faves are City Girl, Hidden Desire, Love Affair, and Sweet Love. They are all shades of nude, mostly cream formulation, with exception to Sweet Love which has shimmer. They last on your lips for about 4 hours and are somewhat thick (not too sticky). I honestly love them and could slap myself in the face for paying 17 plus dollars for MAC gloss. As long as these are available I will continue to purchase them. Don’t sleep ladies, these are bomb!

I also received this in a subscription box. Or, rather, I actually ended up with two of them. One in “Lovely”, and one in “Secret Crush”.
The formula is just not good at all; it is too sticky, and it has a very cloying smell. I’d be far more tolerant of either if there were any redeeming qualities but alas, no-go with that.
“Lovely” is a cool-toned pink which is nowhere near as intimidating as the packaging would suggest. It’s actually not a bad color in and of itself, it just does nothing for my coloring.
“Secret Crush” is virtually nothing. It’s a nude shade which doesn’t do anything at all except make my lips annoyingly sticky. No color at all. None. Nada. Zilch.
Longevity is disappointing, too. I got maybe an hour and a half before “Lovely” became noticeably less lovely and virtually nothing with “Secret Crush”. Maybe the secret part is that it’s really nothing but stickiness-with-a-doe-foot? I don’t know.
I wouldn’t buy these, not even for my 9 year old granddaughter.

I bought these from my local beauty supply store for $3 a piece. I purchased Love Affair and Lovely. I didn’t hate the formulation. They were smooth to apply yet still a bit tacky, but not overly so. I woukd not wear these alone, they look great over lipstick. However, I would not purchase these again because they smell bad. They smell like cheap plastic baby doll and I cannot handle the lingering scent.

I got this color in passion it really nice. I love the bottle i hate the doe brush but i hate doe anything, Now as most know i love red lip-gloss so im always looking for something new to but. why i wont buy again? Well it bleeds a lot and it hard to get a even color look so you waste more product doing so. so i wont buy again. I probably wont even finish it but it feels nice on lips and again i ove the shade as it makes my dark skin and eyes pop. oh well. (see pic above)

For $3.99 Cdn, you get a fabulous gloss: highly pigmented (some are sheer), great colour range, non-sticky, smooth application, and pleasant scent. I have 5 of them, and I am really pleased to have found them.

I got this in a beauty box 5 (which I DON’T recommend!) you get nothing but junk! Anyhow, this lipgloss is thick and gloopy! I got the colour “Mysterious” which goes on a super NEON pink! IMO, not that many people look good in neon lips. Also, as someone else mentioned it does leave a line on the inside of your lips where there is no product and looks horrible!

This is the best liplacquer I have ever used. Hidden Desire is the perfect nude lipglass I call it which is highly pigmented. I would dare to say it is like MAC Lipglass. It has Vitamin E, a great smell and taste. You can purchase this at most beauty supply stores and online. The prices vary from $1.99 to 3.99. This is highly worth the money and you get a lot of lip product.

I saw a few youtubers raving about these beauty supply store lipgloss for 2.99 in some nice colors and I decided to try out few for myself and even though I must say they are very pigmented, let me also say they come in opaque colors and some shimmers, and the packaging aint nothing super special but you get a nice amount for the price you pay. So here is what I DONT LIKE about these lipglosses I hate when lipgloss give me this line across the inside of my lips and THIS is what these do I did exfoliate my lips which I do very often due to the fact the I have dry lips but even tried applying these different ways but the effect is still the same for the opaque shades with the shimmers not so bad but all in all these are not on my favourite list of lipglosses but it works for other people just didn’t work for me.
