I got this as part of a kit and I quite like it. It will probably look different on everyone depending on the shade of your lips. On my nc42 pigmented lips it looks like a pinky brown. It was pretty but I didn’t like it enough to repurchase. It made a great lipbalm though.

I agree with the other reviewer. I am so over the products that customize to your skin once applied. This gloss wasn’t bad but to me it was just clear gloss that turned a little pink after a minute. It was a very glassy gloss…as I call it. Very shiny and solid. Like once it was on you could clearly see it. It wasn’t the kind of gloss that you put on and it disappears. Because it went on thicker I feel like I would FLY thru the bottle. I also detected a mintyness, which I like. I will definitely use this but not sure if I would repurchase.

Meh – I’m over the mood lip-thing after this. By definition, this is ymmv lip gloss. I’m NC10, super cool/pink/blue-red undertone.
This color goes on clear, and after a couple minutes turns a light pink. It gets progressively more pink as the minutes go on. After about 10 minutes, it is approaching hot pink on me. Clear pinks/hot pinks bring out every bit of redness in my skin and take me from porcelain to ruddy, so no go for me.
–Mild vanilla scent and a mild tingle, no discernable taste
–It has what I would call a slightly syrupy texture
–Has good grip; most would call it a bit sticky
–Has the barest hint of shimmer (you have to reeeeally look for it); effect is more light reflective/wet, not shimmery
–Standard gloss tube/doe-foot applicator
In short, the formula is nice but nothing special – certainly not worth $19. Unless this color coincidentally turns (literally) into your HG lip color, I recommend passing on this one.
