I went to ulta today to check this baby out…very pretty…but I couldn’t get myself to buy it because it reminded me so much of my HG lipgloss First Blush by Neutrogena. First Blush also has that nice balance of peach n pink with enough pigment deposit…perfect for the summer and year round because it just wakes up your face…I’m NC35 by the way…I think this color would compliment many skintones.

After reading all the glowing reviews here, I thought I’d be wowed by this gloss. I wasn’t. It seemed pretty average in every way, from formula to shade to staying power. The color was pretty enough but nothing special and it seemed to wear off about as fast as most glosses. As for plumping – I didn’t get anything from it that way, which is odd because I usually have great luck with lip plumpers. Maybe I got a bum bottle but this didn’t give me even the slightest tingle or have any effect on my lips. (For anyone who cares, I’ve gotten the best plumping results from Patricia Wexler, 24/7 Freeze and Physician Formula’s cheapo Plump Potion.) I’ll use this up but won’t try another Buxom gloss.

Love! I was looking for a warm, peachy-pink gloss to go with my Becca Sylph blush. Well, this is *it.* Just the right balance of peach and pink that lights up my face.
This is my first Buxom gloss. I’m generally not a gloss girl (I stick to sheer lipsticks because I like the convenience of a stick), but this formula may change my mind. It’s easy to get a smooth application with the doefoot wand, the formula is not sticky, I like the minty tingle/slight plumping, it wears well (for a gloss), leaves a slight stain when the glossiness wears off, doesn’t collect in the corners of my lips, and I can reapply it without it building up and looking clumpy. Whew! That’s a lot of plusses, and I can’t think of any minuses. Thank you, Leslie, for a great product–I’ll be buying more shades!
