update feb 2020 :
if it wasn’t for the top coat I would actually declutter the matte shade, but they’re stuck in the same packaging so I can’t , it’s been a year that I have this product and the matte shade bugs me , it’s annoying, I can’t use it unless I put the top coat on it, so basically I have this very cool toned [and I’m medium, though it swatches dark as well ] dry crumbly shade that does not work with anything, not even lipbalm, it only works with its top coat and who has time for that?!! . and it’s overpriced, and now it’s worse because I get the feeling it’s expired, the color is much cooler and more dry.immediate crumple, smh. the top coat is still amazing and that one is worth every penny. but I can definitely find something better for a lot cheaper. I wouldn’t have minded the shade or the price if it had performed well, but I think I used it 20 times in one year. some days I did like it, but it’s just awful now. nope. not fooling myself anymore. :/
review of glowing sepia 600 :
so this was recommended to me at the mall, and I didn’t even intend to buy a lipgloss or liquid lipstick but the swatch of the matte shade convinced me to get it instead of a lipliner. I had a lot of mixed reactions about it til I finally figured out that you have to apply matte shade first and then almost right after the top coat because without the top coat , it feels dry and lines my lips too much. anyway it dries fast + is long lasting even if I drink water which is great. the matte color needs more warmth, but I’m loving it for work days. [update not even work days now]
that top coat is amazing! smooth and radiant and makes it sooo comfortable. if it wasn’t for it, the product would be a fail for sure. I think I would buy again for the top coat alone 😛 and I wasn’t even a gloss GIRL!! 😛
it’s so easy to use, barely takes a minute. though BE WARNED, it doesn’t work well with other liners. you have to apply it alone. I have small lips and not lining bothers me a bit but honestly there are days where I don’t want to. so all’s good.

I purchased this in Shimmering Pink (500) as I am a blue eyed blond with fair skin. This is a very flattering pink. Prior to this, I was wearing a Rimmel shade that was very porn star looking on me and I needed to find a pink that you could see, but was also subtle and pretty. This is perfect. I applied the first coat (colour) and waited about 3 minutes before applying the gloss. I always do this with these types of products because I want to make sure that the colour is completely dry before applying the gloss. Another issue I have with these types of lipsticks is whether the gloss will wipe of my lipliner. This one does not, so that is a bonus. I had terrible trouble with Maybelline colour and gloss products doing exactly that. Overall I am very happy with the colour and quality of this. I would definitely buy again.

I’m a big fan of long wearing lipsticks and I think Max Factor was one of the first to introduce this. The trick to long wearing lipsticks to let it dry first and then apply the gloss.. What I like to do is get a shade that matches my natural lip color and then apply whatever lipstick I have on hand.. ( doesnt have to be max factor) i have used MAC/cover girl/etc.. and it makes your lipstick stay on longer.. Max Factor has a great line of long wearing lipsticks and I also use Cover Girl Outlast as well.. I was an NFL cheerleader for a few years and we needed our makeup to last for at least 8 hours on game day and this was a lifesaver:)

I usually like Max Factor products, but this one is not that good. I like the color, no. 500 Shimmering Pink, so this wasn’t a problem. What I dislike is that the color, after few hours, becomes chunky and it disappears just like a nail polish, which is not nice, because I look like I have pieces of paint on the lips. I would not buy this product again, it’s not good and expensive also for its quality.

so i recently bought this in shimmering pink. and i love it, like the girl above said it gives a great colour, i do have senstive lips so most lip glosses actually dry my lips like clinique’s glosses did, but this one is fine on me =] i would recomend it, if your willing to pay for it

it’s brilliant to have a longwearing lipgloss!! the tube has the colour in one end and the top coat-frostgloss in the other. the only drawback is that it is not very longwearing-it stays put for 3 hours on me! i have it in #500 shimmering pink which is a peachy-pink and it has a somewhat frosty finish. what i love about it is that you can actually built the colour, so if you apply it lightly it’s sheer and if you want a more bright intense effect you just apply 2 coats of colour.
