Got this through Ipsy. It’s a sheer pink gloss with very faint shimmer. Feels nice as a gloss alone or as a topper, but not much color payoff. The tube is thicker and longer than most, so it’s not really as pocket-friendly as others. White graphics cover most of the tube body but you can still see the product shade towards the bottom. Doefoot applicator. On its own, it’s not particularly special for me.

Nars glosses are my absolute favorite! I have no idea why it has taken me so long to add a review, given that I have been using them since (gulp!) the early 1990’s. While I loved them then just as much as I do now, the color saturation and formulation has improved by leaps and bounds in the past few years.
Nars glosses glide on smooth, are never too sticky, and the shade range holds something for everyone. My very favorite shades are wonder (Orange, may be LE), Orgasm, and Dolce Vida. Runner ups are Chelsea Girls and Turkish Delight, which I have been using off and on for decades.
How they compare to others: Nars glosses are way less sticky than MAC’s, by a landmark; yet they aren’t as lightweight as Pat McGrath glosses. However, PM glosses don’t hold a candle to the opacity of Nars glosses IMO.
I find these to be the best of the best when it comes to high end glasses. Amazing color saturation, excellent formulation, long wear time for a gloss, and no scent or taste.

I have this in a few colors, yet my favorite is the shade Orgasm, which is an almost completely universally-flattering coral pink shade. The lip gloss is not as sticky as many other glosses. This tends to fade evenly. I love that after using this my lips feel moisturized the rest of the day.

I have a mini in Gold Digger & reg sized in Dolce Vita, Turkish Delight, O, Super O, Chelsea Girls, & Angelika; & I love them! They are hella expensive so that’s why I only own a few. $28 eek that is a lot of money but I would certainly buy more of them as a splurge! My fave lipglosses are NARS, Chanel Glossimers, & MAC Lipglass. My current obsession is NARS!! The packaging is cute too so chic & doesn’t taste nor smell like anything–I don’t get the wet sheep comparison althou lanolin normally doesn’t agree w me these don’t bother me in the least. Winning!!
truthfulRat9
I got this in the shade orgasm and it’s beautiful. It’s quite expensive and it also doesn’t last long on my lips. Nothing special with these. Buy a drugstore lip gloss instead of this one. It disappears after an hour or two without even drinking or eating. Will not buy this again.
selfishGarlic8
Terrible product. Overhyped and expensive plus you don’t get your money’s worth.
The only redeeming quality is the packaging. The product itself is sticky, tacky and has the texture of glue. As far as the color range,it’s okay but no way does that justify the price.
My Nyx lip gloss is way better and costs much less.
blissfulDotterel7
The lip gloss of my life. It’s great – shine, pigment, hydration – all with cute packaging.
crushedMeerkat7
While pricey, I justify that it IS Nars and they make good stuff. I keep coming back to this brand after years of trying DS and HE stuff. It is one of the best I terms of color, staying power and consistency. It doesn’t dry my lips out yet gives strong color, which is better for me than some lipsticks. My lips tend to be dry so I like glosses which help that, not hinder it. I’m going to ruthlessly purge my lip gloss stash soon as I can’t stand keeping things around if they are no longer useful. My latest Nars lip gloss is called something like Sixties (_____) ?, which is a great dark vampy shade. It is new shade and I was reminded of why I love this line (customer since 2002).
wrathfulCrane2
I have this in the color “Perfect Nude”-nice light peachy beigey nude. I got it in Sephora box and i did owned one lip gloss from Sephora brand before. Consistency is good and its not too sticky imo and its very shiny. What it reminded me was Rimmel’s lip gloss from drugstore. I wouldn’t buy this because you can find similar product(if not identical) in a drugstore so its not really anything exceptional

Sephora makes Wonderful lip gloss!
Baby Doll…Baby Pink
Tinkled Pink…Light Pink
Paradise Pink…Medium Pink
Fresh Peach…Fresh Peach
Very Pleased with my Lip Glosses!
sugaryStork8
As a gloss, this does its job. It’s not too sticky and applies to a pretty finish. However, I think lip gloss is one of those products that can be bought drugstore.Unless on sale, I wouldn’t purchase again.
mereCamel8
I have this in color 13 Peek A Boo and wanted to get a match to Makeup Forever 202 Sweet Pink. They are a perfect match. Tho this one is more on the giltter side. Loving the color on it .
enviousBittern3
I love love this lipgloss!! Its the perfect consistency (not too sticky!) so it feels great on my lips. It also lasts a good while and its easy to apply
The color I have is “deep rose, 22” and I am inlove. Its a perfect MLBB on me and the shimmer is not too much! Amazing! The onlyyyy thing Id have to say is that they could be a few dollars cheaper, but it still a great option when deciding between more expensive brands of lip glosses.

I have 18 Shiny the red .
I was looking for a classic red color when purchasing it .
Great applicators , I never seen this type on any other lip glosses they make the work so easy , and I think it works great on any lip types, thin or full.
It was a huge disappointed , for me , the formula feels really sticky , not smooth at all .
This is the only make up item which I have an embarrassing story to add with . I double check my makeup once I leave my house so imagine my humiliation when a guy friend pointed out I have red shiny lip gloss on my teeth . Never in my life have I experienced this , not even when I was 14 . I really felt I didn’t add too much , just the regular amount, so..
It’s really crazy since most people sing praises to it for being non sticky.
It’s a great red color , and very glossy ,the great pigmentation was what attracted me to it, but it feels heavy on the lips , and after that episode I don’t use it anymore.
enragedWigeon7
I can’t remember the shade I have but it’s a cotton candy/bubblegum pink. Very pretty packaging and color but it applied streaky and seperated weirdly on the lips. Maybe it will be better with a lip primer or paired with a lipstick
tautHare5
I have this in voluminous peach. 1 of my all time faves. I like to wear this w a pale e/s & black liner/mascara for an easy ev. day look. I don’t do a lot of DS except elf/wnw but I have an unhealthy appetite whetted for Chanel glossimers/MAC lipglass but this is really great a diupe MAC C-thru (NYC Voluminous Peach). Awesome sauce!!
needySalami3
This lipgloss is a good color, although it makes my lips sticky after the first 5 minutes.
curiousCurlew1
Best lip gloss I’ve found and it is only a $1.75!! Dosen’t burn and feels like lip balm when it goes on. HG for me.
guiltyPudding2
I just hate it. Its as cheap as its price!! It sucks mad my lips so sticky, chappy, and not cute at all. I will never purchase any of thier products ,thier all just so cheap! what its tested on animals not even worth hurting them with this terrible product!
truthfulSeagull0
The only reason I buy this clear gloss is because clear gloss gets ruined anyways and this does the job for 99 cents. Only buy it when I dont feel like spending 15 buck on MAC clear lip glass.
gloomyKitten6
Ugh. There are better products that aren’t tested on animals. No, I’m not a PETA sucker or anything, but I don’t buy animal tested stuff unless the product is amazing. Seriously, this is a no go.
grizzledCoconut0
I am writing this review on behalf of a friend. She is very pretty and her lips already have lots of pigment so this clear, inexpensive, modest gloss is perfect for her. It lasts for a long time and is really cheap too!
peskyCow8
I really like its formula. It isn’t sticky at all and hydrates my lips. Only downside is the price. It’s too expensive for my liking but I still enjoy it. I have the peachy one in (Kind kiss).
empathicAntelope7
I very much wanted this to be the best lip gloss I’ve ever tried, as I adore Jessica Alba and every single shade looks amazing on her. I decided to get the shade Creative Kiss after seeing it in one of her tutorials. I’m simultaneously pleased and underwhelmed. I really like it as a super glossy wash of color that I can just pop on with any look. Creative Kiss is a sheer plum and I have to say that it does look stunning on the lips. It’s very smooth and glassy, and makes my lips looks very plump. I just love the way it looks. However, I don’t think it’s worth $18 by any means. There’s just so many good lip glosses from the drugstore that I can’t justify that price, no matter how much I love the shine. I’m also not super fond of the doe foot applicator as its a little hard and does apply enough product. I will still use this happily until I run out but I just don’t think I could talk myself into spending another $18 to repurchase it.
needyFish4
I really enjoyed this gloss. I got it in the color “Dreamy Kiss”, which is a natural nude color, kind of a milky pinky brown (not a pale nude), with no shimmer. It looks very natural on and there is no weird scent or taste. It also doesn’t feel sticky, more just really hydrating and smooth. Very comfortable on. It’s almost an exact dupe for MAC Cremesheen Gloss in “Boy Bait”, one of my staple colors. I love that this one from Honest Beauty is non-toxic and natural and I can feel good about using it daily.
ecstaticBoars0
For the price, these are below average lip glosses. To start with, they are very sheer. I have Dreamy Kiss which is a sheer nude and barely noticeable on my lips; and Creative Kiss which looks dark mauve/raisin color but only imparts a sheer wine color on my mouth. The lip glosses do not last long at all. And even though the lip glosses are supposed to contain hydrating ingredients, they dry my lips out. NYX butter lip glosses are much nicer than this as is lip gloss by 100% pure cosmetics.
amusedCaviar7
I am new to Jordana cosmetics and ordered a handful of their products to try out. I ordered this lip gloss in Caramelo and Golden Glow. Overall, I feel it’s a very nice gloss for the price. I like the applicator and it’s not too sticky or shiny which is what I prefer. The Golden Glow color is very nice, it’s sheer but add a nice bronzy sheen. Caramelo is a very light color but adds just a teeny bit of color. I actually prefer toned down lip looks nowadays so this is not a bad this. For those looking for a ton of color, this is probably not the shade for you. I will definitely purchase Golden Glow again, Caramelo probably not. I will definitely use it up though, it’s perfect for my low maintenance look these days even if it’s not a color I will go for in the future. 5 stars overall.
obsessedLollies6
It’s just amazing!
It’s super cheap. It’s like $3.00 where I bought it.
The application is super easy and gloss is not sticky.
emptyPudding0
I got a severe rash from this product. I am not allergic to anything except this, I do not know why. It hurts like hell
pitifulSalt7
I was really surprised when I was reading others reviews that most people see, to like the scent. I got these in the shades caramel and sunset kiss and I think they smell like a combination of watermelon and band aids- not a pleasant think to put right under your nose. I have used other lip glosses that I have not preferred the scent before because it was not too strong, but with these the smell makes it hard to wear. I was really upset about this because I have some other Jordana products that I love, but I just could not get past the smell of this one even though the colors were beautiful!
mildCockatoo6
Jordana seem to change the names and formulas for their glosses quite often. The ones I have only have the names of the color, not what is this gloss called. Its one of their newer ones and comes in the tube with doe foot applicator. I bought two last week-Sunset Kiss and Anarose. Sunset Kiss is beautiful light peachy pink with a lot of golden shimmer(which shows almost clear on me but my lips are pink). Anarose is medium cool mauve with no shimmer. On my lips its pinky mauve that is very natural looking and just looks like you have pretty deep mauvy lips naturally. Its smells fresh and fruity, goes on smooth, nonsticky and has nice pigmentation. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this. Imo, this is great quality gloss which i prefer over most other drugstore brands
gloomyThrush2
I love this lip gloss. My local 99cent store carries Jordana products and some of them have really impressed me.
I have this lip gloss in juicy berry. Its not sticky, has a wine color tint, color, tons of shine and tiny sparkles.
On the downside it doesnt last long and has a odd smell.
eagerFerret0
I have this in Pink Crush & Sorbet. Both are sheer colors true to name, smell like Jolly Ranches, tasteless & shiny. Their slightly moisturizing & not very long lasting at all. Probably best for younger girls. I much prefer a better formula/color payoff gloss from NYX for almost SAME COST. These are $2 for 0.25 oz & NYX are $5 for 0.53 oz!!! Save your $ for better quality.
excitedChile4
I have this in a soft pink color…my sister in law gave it to me and I can’t make out the name on the bottom for the life of me..but it’s number 700. First off the color is really pretty and comes off like a light pink with the tinniest shimmer. It is smooth and feels good on the lips. I also love the slanted brush. But there is always too much product on the brush so I have to scrape some of it off before applying. It doesn’t last very long on me…maybe an hour before I need to reapply but that seems to be the norm with all silky glosses like this.
eagerMare4
My favourite lipgloss! I got this in taffy and it is a really nice light pink colour which has pretty good pigmentation. This goes on really smooth has good staying power, would repurchase.
wearySardines5
Every lipgloss I come into contact with is immediately put up against my two favorite brands: MAC lipglasses and Chanel Glossimers, flat out. These are right in there and in some ways surpass their competitors! I bought two on ebay.. both shades of pink (Knockout and Taffy) and am on the lookout for an apricot/mango/orange toned right now. I am combing ebay for this and am closing in on a couple of great contenders. Because of the excellent quality of the two I own, I feel comfortable with making a choice via online shopping. They are sticky but in a good way; the stickiness makes them cling to my lips for a good long time, not pulling away from my lips after sipping a drink or after 30 minutes.. they even hold up with modest eating even. I see some low reviews but don’t quite understand it. I’m all for these!
ashamedSeafowl9
I’ve been looking for a not-too-bright close-to-the-natural color of my lips for YEARS. This lipgloss in ‘Tender’ feels great on my lips and the color is pigmented enough to last. It gives me a nice, polished and very pretty lip. I’m surprised to read about grittiness and tackiness and I don’t experience any of that.
cheerfulDunbird9
I received some of these (a kit with 6 mini lipglosses) as a gift from my sister, and am very surprised at CK for creatig such shit.
I am also surprised there is someone who liked this. Makes me wonder, despite the pristine wrapping, could I have gotten a fake?
Serious here, girls, this the worst EVER, and here are the reasons:
-AWFUL chemical smell
-irritated my lips, no i am not talking about plumping here, but flakyness and itchiness.
-absolutely not hydrating, despite its super tacky texture (glues flyaway hair in your face!)
-the glittery ones give you an ‘i just popped some sand on my lips’ feel, very gritty.
-no color payoff and sits unconfortably on your lips.
The colours looked good on my drawer, though. Should have left them there.
wrathfulCaviar1
I purchased the Calvin Klein lip gloss in carnelian for 60% off which was a bargain. I really did not like this lip gloss especially the colour. The colour was just so strong, usually I like to put a few layer of gloss on my lips, with this I cant, the colour will just get deeper and deeper with every layer.
I think I will use this as a liquid lipstick or a lip tint because it works better like that.
The gloss actually fades very quick, but the colour leaves a stain on your lips. It does not soften my lips, it also definitely does not shine or plump.
Would I buy it again? No
aloofMeerkat7
Good thing i got this gloss in a kit from sephora, i hated it. Its super sticky a felt uncomfortable on my lips. In the tube it was this pretty pink color but showed completely clear on my lips. Im not sure if this is the worst lip gloss ive ever tried but its definitely 1 of the worst- gonna stay clear of the rest of the calvin klein lip glosses.
pluckyLizard7
This gloss is a little on the sticky side, but many glosses are and this is not the stickiest I have ever used. I like the vanilla flavor of the glosses and the nice wash of color. This is reasonably priced and I will repurchase as long as I can find a MK rep that does not try to get me to join their cult lol.
sheepishMussel2
OH MY GOD!!! This is by far THE MOST HORRIBLE lip gloss I have ever used!! I have NEVER had any reaction to a lip product before. This crap peeled my lips and made them feel absolutely raw! I don’t know what kind it was, all I know is that it was in a round clear tube with a black cap with little hearts all over it. A very well meaning co-worker gave this to me as a Christmas gift knowing what a makeup junkie I am. I don’t blame her, as she rarely wears makeup and wouldn’t know that Mary Kay is basically a crap brand of makeup.
It has taken me over a month to get my lips back to normal and they are still not 100%. I have slathered Aquaphor on every night in an effort to get them to heal. I never purchased Mary Kay products after working cosmetics for 11 years and hearing multiple horror stories, but I thought a lip gloss wouldn’t do any harm. WRONG! Please stay away from this brand or you will pay the price.
gutturalCur2
Just to “sticky” especially if you have long hair, as your hair will brush your mouth, and it gets stuck! Does not happen with lipstick, but to MK’s credit, some other lip glosses do the same thing, but there are lip glosses out there that do not do this. There is really nothing special about MK lip gloss over others out there, so would not recommend, as there are better ones.
empathicWildfowl0
I have four of these and I’m really satisfied! They apply evenly, are non sticky and the lasting power is great, a combination I rarely find in other brands. The packaging is cute and small so you can have it in you pocket or wallet even, and they make these with a doe foot applicator instead of a brush. Thats really a matter of personal taste but I can’t stand brush applicators and never buy glosses with them. The scent it nice and sweet but not overpowering. I miss a couple of shades in the color range but this again is a matter of personal taste. Another large plus is that they are very moisturizing, so moisturizing in fact that they can almost replace chap stick.
alertSnipe4
I’m usually not a lip gloss gal, but I love this one. The color I have (can’t remember which one it is) has gold glitters in it which I love, but the best part is that it’s not sticky at all! Perfectly glossy and wonderful.
dreadfulRelish1
I tried Cream & Sugar years ago. Liked it alot.
Just tried the circa 2012 formulation in Fancy Nancy – a soft peachy/pink shade with a bit of gold microglitter (not too chunky). Smells vanilla-ish – not too long wearing though. Very moisturizing. Nice.
Circa 2018/19 – the formulation is much better and I still like Fancy Nancy. Newer shades like Beach Bronze and Berry Dazzle have sparkles. The non-sparkling ones are nice, too.
wakefulToucan3
I wanted to like this gloss, but its really nothing special about it. It doesnt last any longer than other gloss that I own, it does make my lips feel softer and its not sticky, but I dont like the size of the tube its tiny so it has a short wand. Anyways I think its over priced and I probably wouldnt buy again.
dopeyPepper0
I fondly remember having Bloom lip gloss in Cutie Pie as my signature lip color for majority of my university years. I loved the MLBB color and I constantly got compliments when I wore it. The Mandarin Vanilla scent is also lovely and a bit therapeutic for me. It’s comfortable to wear and didn’t emphasize any dryness on the lips. Downsides: It easily transfers and I had to reapply a couple of times in a day. It’s not necessarily inexpensive but one tube lasted me for months. I suppose I stopped buying it only when I got really interested in lipsticks, especially semi-matte lipsticks. Maybe if I see one on discount I’d get one for old times’ sake!
enragedRhino0
Well, BLOOM always has FANCY packaging. This Australian cosmetic brand is TRULY GREAT! I love this lip gloss. very cute, has various colors and i got he perfect pink from this brand. I bought this one after i read a testimonial from Kylie Minogue that she loves this lip gloss and i’m agree with her. Another reason why you should buy this one is because of its price, NOT PRICEY!
debonairCordial6
I have these in pinkish red and clear. They are very moisturuzing and long lasting. They have great scents, smells, and colors.

I LOVE this stuff! The colours, the texture, the scent… But especially the scent! It smells so yummy! My favourite shade is Seashell. It’s the perfect pinky nude! I am definately buying more. ^_^

the. best. lip gloss. ever. best texture, best scent, best packaging, best color, i love it! my HG lipgloss for sure.
zestyEagle6
bloom lipgloss is absolutely perfect. it smells nice, has a great thick consistency and lasts for a while, while adding color! it is pigmented enough so it actually BUILDS color to your lips without any liner or lipstick. i have v. pigmented muave-y lips alone but with this gloss in Tangerine they are a nice coral 🙂 i have tried cosmopolitan, kissable (i think that was the name…) and tangerine and they are all good… but cosmopolitan was a bit too frosty and cold looking on my pale skin. i wish these were easier to find in USA! also the packaging is perfect
pleasedShads3
Lets start of with the smell, delicious. Vanilla and something else, I love putting this lipgloss on firstly for that reason. I’ve had ladies at MAC ask me what lipgloss I’m wearing when I wear Bloom’s shade Pout!
The texture is not at all sticky, very smooth and its the only lipgloss that wont irritate my skin after hours. I tend to love this lipgloss so much I find myself eating it because it even tastes good!
Bloom however doesn’t fade whatsoever and is all you need, no need for a lipliner with this lipgloss. I’ll keep buy their lipgloss!
wearyCoconut7
I love this firmula. Its moisturizing, softens/repairs the lips, smells gorgeous, looks good and lasts on the lips. It is a little thin formula, not like your ordinary sticky-gloss, so it wont probably stay on as long as the thick ones, but thats ok. No gloss should go without a check/touchup for more than 1 1/2 hour in my opinion 😉
This actually helps your lips to look and feel wonderful even when not wearing the gloss. What other brand offers that?
ashamedOtter8
I bought the: Sunfitness “gloss crystal crystal gloss” spf 15
I had a completely different experience from the rest of you… I have found this gloss to be very drying, and sticky, which I don’t like. It has a nice light pink/beigy color, and the tube is nice. I like having SPF in a gloss. I wouldn’t buy it again based on the drying factor.
sincereFerret1
Great stuff; smells nice, looks good and tastes sweet too. Doesnt dry out my lips either.
Only bad thing is that it doesnt last longer than an hour..
But definitely would buy again 🙂

Yeah, yeah I know MAC & NARS have the staying power and super sticky texture that people luv and it is great for when you’re getting glammed up BUT if you want shiny lips + vitamin E benefits + no stickyness + long wear + low cost + perfect texture you’ve got Biotherm Glossy Shin Lip Glosses ($10!!!!) The packaging is great. The angled dispensing tip is very comfortable to use and allows you to cover you lips fully. I love the scent (although some hate it). They have so many shades from sheers to super colors etc… etc… and I use them as my everyday lipgloss … come the weekend when it’s time to partay I go back to the MAC & NARS (these dry out my lips because of their zero benefits and they are sticky thicky glosses). Biotherm is great if you want to take care of our lips during the work week with style!!!! enough said!
cheerfulSalami6
Perfect all around shiny gloss. I have this is 30, a light peach pink. It doesn’t really give you color but the consistency is what I like best. It shines great and moisturizes. I love it….and for 10 dollars! All of my friends steal it, they like it better than Juicy Tubes, which dry my lips out horribly.
tautChile0
These glosses are just OK. Although they look similar to Lancome Juicy Tubes, these are not sticky. They contain Vitamin E and are very moisturizing. The scent/taste the other reviewers mention is actually apricot–it’s very mild. The problem with this product is that the oils separate & make it runny after awhile. Yuck. I bought 3, but no more.
wakefulSalami0
Not too bad a gloss for ten bucks. I initially purchased the blue one, #20, which is more for toning and enhancing lipsticks that it would be to wear alone, for me, anyway. People with pigmented lips could wear this alone and it would give a nifty sparkle, but my lips are a bit pale for that. It’s not overly blue like Mac Surfbunny, but more opaque and shimmery in an icy type of way.
Edited to add that I have purchased several other Biotherm glosses since my first purchase and I really can’t tell you how great the quality of this gloss is, especially at ten bucks. And there is an excellent color selection. Don’t overlook these glosses.
alertOwl1
Gosh lip glosses are not bad taking into account the price you pay. They are quite transparent but go on smooth and give a nice glossy finish. I use them on their own as I don’t mind a sheer lip color. They have no shimmer what so ever. The smell is quite slight, can’t really describe it, smells of something sweet. The packaging is simple and nice. The applicator is a spongy wand. I own 2 colors.
Color 0082: a slightly muted coral. This one is quite pigmented, so would look on the lips almost the same as in the packaging.
Color 004: milky light pink. Tones down your own lip color quite a bit. I like it for I have quite pigmented lips, and this one does a good job to wash the color away a bit.
blissfulSeagull2
I recently picked up this shade in 0058. I like it a lot, it lasts a pretty long time when worn alone so I’m going to try it with a bit of lip liner and see if I can stretch it out a little longer, too. I picked this up on sale at Shopper’s Drug Mart, wish I had saved the slip so I could comment on the price more accurately. Anyhow, I would try this in different shades. 0058 is different enough from my natural lip colour that it changes my look, but not so wacky that I feel silly (I have a harrrrd time picking lip colours, especially for daytime looks- my workplace is a little conservative, being a museum and on a military base). Has a nice texture and doesn’t even get wrecked if I wear it out on a windy, wet day here in Halifax where the rain falls sideways.
excitedWidgeon9
I have it in 0058, which is a very pretty medium pink with tiny silver shimmer.
I like these glosses more than MAC’s, first of all because they are much less sticky, and second of all the pigment lasts until I take it off, unlike MAC’s, which starts off nicely but soon disappears from my lips completely, all I’m left with is a clear sticky goop.
This l/g has a very faint scent that does not last, good pigmentation, and lasts and lasts for a long time (unless I eat of course, then I have to reapply). The tiny shimmers help give dimension to my lips, make them look fuller and moist.
I will try other colors for sure.
sugaryRelish7
These are great glosses. They’re not sticky, they have excellent colour payoff and they have a great colour selection. There is no added scent. The only down side to the glosses is that there is no matte colours, they all have a lot of shimmer/frost.
insecurePonie5
I am a huge fan of Clinique lip glosses. They are pigmented and stay exactly where you put them on. If they stray off my lips I have a tenancy to break out. The GOSH lip glosses are the closest thing to them that I have found. They are not quite as sticky and need to be applied more often but the wide variety of colour makes up for it. It really won me over because i was looking for an orange lip gloss and most of them are very sheer. This one was perfect! The only thing that bothers me, and this happens for a couple of my lipsticks, is that you need to completely remove the product before you reapply of else I find it goes on blotchy.
ecstaticOrange0
The best lipgloss i have ever used and ive tried literally close to hundreds threw the years. It has such a perfect sparkle and shine amount… Its awesome by itself let alone over lipstick. Its not sticky and actually moisturizes your lips but at the same time is a highh shine gloss! Its not crazy long lasting but no gloss really is. I got the Glided Honey, City lights combo… then after trying had to have the set with the purple Hue’s too! I cant express enough how high shine, non sticky, moisturizing this is. It creates the perfect kissable lip and feels natural on. My first laura geller product ever…. better then anything at sephora, Mac, Bobbi Brown. You name it her gloss tops it!
madRuffs8
Laura Geller has a decent color selection of her Hi Definition Luster Lip Gloss Topcoat. The two colors I have are called Diamond Dust (which just happens to be my favorite duochromatic highlighter of the same name) and Amethyst Glaze which is a purple lipstick topper or gloss on its own. They formula is decent, no noticeable taste, and is more affordable to boot. The holiday set of the duo is a great deal and makes it a nice chance to get two of the colors in a mini tube.
needfulRuffs0
I think this is the best of any gloss I’ve owned. It seems to really ‘stick’. I have the “Opal” in a soft tube and I only squeeze out the tiniest bit. It lightens and brightens whatever color I have on. The lastability is remarkable.
I apply it with a lipbrush. Even worn alone, it imparts a nice glow.
It came in a QVC kit, so I can’t really judge it on price. I don’t know its individual price.
sheepishThrush7
I got this from my parents after borrowing it for a wedding, I ended up keeping it. The shade I have is “Just Beachy” it’s a nude shade with a lot of shimmer, I wear this a lot at work instead of chapstick, I find it hydrates my lips really well. I will definatly be looking at some other shades!

I have this is Spice which is too bright pinky peach for me. However I would certainly try another color. The smell is DREAMY, like cupcakes!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Laura Geller Lip Gloss! My absolute favorite lip gloss. I have these in Peachy Keen and Spice, I just ordered Orchid and anxiously awaiting it’s arrival. The Peachy Keen is a beautiful peach shimmery pearl, once you rub it in it’s not quite so shimmery and literally could be worn with anything, I normally don’t buy anything peach colored but I am so glad I did in this gloss. The Spice is a rose/brown shade and this one too can be worn with just about anything. These are not sticky at all, wear for a very long time and my favorite part of them is they tase and smell like heaven!!! They smell like vanilla, but a truly fabulous vanilla, it’s wonderful. I also love the wand, it’s not a felt tip wand but rather like a paint brush tip, I love the way it applies. My HG lip gloss! Thank you Laura!

I have had 2 lip glosses or ‘shiners’. one was cherry ice which was a gorgeous colour but had too much gold sparkle for my taste.
the other was ‘spice’ which looked and smelled like toffee and was a neutral pinky/brown. I thought it would be too brown but its perfect. You can put just a little on or more and its not sticky, has very good pigment levels and isn’t too glossy. My favourite lip gloss to date and I’m not a big gloss wearer. I prefer the ‘doe foot’ to the brush though but that’s just me, I make a mess with the brush!
would definitely repurchase although on their own they are expensive and hard to get in the UK (unless you get from ebay). As part of QVC kits they are good value.

Got this in Tasmania – a pastel pink that looks great in the tube but on the lips it’s just your lips with a moist shine. Ah, really wanted to love this, but the color spoiled it all for me. Otherwise, the texture, packaging, wear is OK, I wouldn’t say it’s up there, but pretty decent. I think I’ll still try the other colors for names if for nothing else)). The other thing is Tasmania may be a great gloss to layer over another lipstick, I think that would be the best use for it, because to achieve any slight pink pastel shade, you really need to layer for an hour.

I spent a good hour at Sephora trying to find my new favorite lip gloss (there really should be a law against companies discontinuing popular lip gloss lines- that’s highly traumatizing to women). I tried almost every gloss in Sephora. I wanted something neutral with a little shine but not glittery, and a smooth application that blends easily. I can’t stand sticky/tacky glosses (there should be a law against that too!). I tried the Nars glosses early in my search, walked away from them and then came right back. I liked them enough to start out, but after comparing them to everything else out there, I realized they were much better and offered a better variety of shades. Then I tried on the color “Striptease” (which might be the best name ever for a lip gloss) and I fell totally in love. It’s the best neutral shade ever! Search over! I picked that right up. I’ve now been wearing it or alone or layering it over a light pink or nude lip pencil filled in lip, or a nude matte lipstick, or a light sheer coral lipstick. Striptease fits perfectly with everything.

I purchased this gloss in a neutral pink color to wear over bolder red lipsticks and defuse some of their color. I’m not usually into wearing gloss on my lips but this isn’t a typical sticky gloss and it’s also much more pigmented. It creates a beautiful shine while moisturizing the lips and on top of that it has decent staying power.

I have number 42 and I like it a lot. Less color and a lot of shimmer.

I have this in “Rose Petal,” a beautiful pinky-beige-mauve color that goes with any of my neutral lipsticks or wears well alone. It’s not sticky and I don’t detect a scent. Will re-purchase.

My daughter ordered a “color wand” (lip glosses) with her own money. The item that was sent was a different color than the one pictured on a web site. I called customer service and they said if it was there mistake (which the rep. agreed it looked like), they would send the correct color. After hearing nothing for two weeks, I called back and was told they were out of stock so they “couldn’t verify the purchase”. I suggested that since it was there mistake they could still give her a credit. The best they could offer was that we could return it (and eat the shipping cost) for a credit or i could drive to the mall to return it for a credit. Lessons in on-line shopping and the poor customer service of Sephora. Their mistake, but the customer pays. Nice. The product itself was disappointing as well. The packing, while cool looking, was fragile (one of the lip glosses broke), and the lids were hard to unscrew. The lip gloss itself was a bit sticky as well. Definitely not worth it. ($11 plus $7.14 tax+shipping).

The watermelon pot l/g is terrible. It has a very strong sweet taste. The thin and greasy texture lasted 2 seconds on my lips.

Sucks! Just found out off of Peta’s website that MYC tests on animals so no more contributing to that BS. Still trying to find out if Wet N Wild does, but more likely. These cosmetics lines maybe inexpensive, but is it really worth the health and life of innocent animals? HARDLY!

I have this in clear from my sister. This gloss makes my lips all shiny and glam. The only problem is that the tube leaks if it’s not on super tight. Well, that’s not the only problem. It has a tendency to make my lipstick run all over the place. And if I’m using a dark lipstick, the wand picks up the color. Overall, I’d probably look for another cheapie gloss.

Good, not very sticky medium tinted gloss. I got it in Amorose, a natural mauve, my lips but better shade. I use it for a no fuss school lip. You do have to reapply often though. I quite like the gloss, for 3 dollars you can’t go wrong. I got this and a blush, I like the blush better. Smells yummy! Like candy

I got the gloss in Pink Crush. This is my first time trying a Jordana product. I bought it at my local beauty supply store and I was drawn to it because it was cheap. I just recently lost my newly purchased Nars gloss and still very sad over how much it cost me…so I was on a lip gloss rebound I guess where I wanted to buy something new to sooth my loss, but didn’t want to spend too much!
Pink Crush is a dolly pink, very glossy, slightly sticky, but not annoyingly so. Good quality for the price. Not very pigmented, but gives a nice pink sheen. Best part though, smells like watermelon Jollyranchers! It’s amazing! I keep putting it on just to smell it =D
I probably won’t go buy the other colours because it doesn’t seem pigmented enough to even bother trying colors. I would buy just for the shine factor and smell alone.
$1.99 and it will do until I can bear to part with my money for another Nars gloss =P

i have never been big on lip glosses simply bcoz it gets quite windy here in my city and i hate it when my hair gets stuck on my lips (since im not big on wearing my hair tied up) but i do have quite a lot of them since i do wear them when i go out or when its not windy or when im indoors (eg at uni/college). most of my collections are very nudey colours since i look utterly horrible with anything remotely colorful but i when i saw these jordana lip glosses at my local dollar store i really wanted to get one bcoz i was going out that night and really wanted to copy the whole smokey eye and barbie pink lips look (which i had never pulled off successfully in the past, actually i never really whole-heartedly attempted it). i picked up the color ‘pink sugar’ which is this really milky light pink color with major blue undertone. the first thing i must say about these glosses is damn these are so pigmented! im used to glosses that give color pay offs but are still a bit sheer but these are like paints and literally covers your lips! because of that they can be quite drying so i apply it over a lip balm and it works beautifully since they stay on for quite a bit and is so smooth and not at all sticky. this pink shade is seriously so nice it works so well with my complexion (NC37, black hair, golden undertone and major asian features lol!) and i swear i never had another pink color that looked good on me ever! im going to go and get some more colors and i feel like im going to get good uses out of them bcoz they are practically like lipsticks but not as nasty (i dont really like lipsticks). oh and the smell is kind of watermelon-ey.

These glosses have really nice names and wonderful shades in a variety. Have a pleasant smell and not a tacky taste, however, feel as very thick and sticky on the lips, which is a major disadvantage. The packaging is nice, but I personally don’t love it. The wand is nice, it’s convenient, but I don’t like the silver top. The product is priced reasonably and not overly expensive. Though still wouldn’t buy since I don’t like such sticky glosses.
hushedEggs3
If these glosses weren’t so pricey, I’d be stocking up on them all over the place. I love the texture, and the staying power is great. It feels a little sticky at first, but after a while I don’t even feel it. Even though I don’t feel it, when I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror, it’s still there! Not much touchup necessary.

This is a great gloss, very smooth and soft! The color is great (plum glaze) kind of a dark berry, but sheer at the same time. Packaged very nice, I WANT MORE!

I usually love mary kay lip products but last Christmas (2009) I recieved a limited edition shade called “starlet kiss” as a gift and it was REALLY horrible. Im only posting this cause someone told me that they are bringing it back for this holiday too.
obsessedTomatoe3
Mary Kay has a nice assortment of colors. I liked the colors the lip gloss is good but I am not a fan of lip glosses. It is a bit too expensive. I do not like how all of them are so sparkly I would like to sample one that does not have so much sparkle. I would much rather have my moisturizing tinted lip balm with SPF I love it and will never buy another lip gloss again.

I LOVE Bronze Bliss, it is my favorite lipgloss color, ever.
It’s unusual and it’s highly pigmented which I love. It doesn’t look cheap like most gloss colors do on me. It adds depth to a blah lipcolor underneath, or really pumps up a lipstick color that I like. It seems to compliment my red-blonde hair and give my pale skin a beautiful contrast that I have never really seen before in a lipcolor.
Absolutely thrilled.
yearningCrackers5
I adore this lipgloss and won’t wear any other brand. The mandarin and vanilla smell is divine and the texture is non-sticky, unlike some other brands which can be gloopy. It glides on smoothly and gives a glassy sheen. It stays on for a couple of hours (provided I don’t eat, drink or kiss!). But it does seem to fade a bit from when I first applied it. I wear Bordeaux – a dark berry colour, which has been discontinued (Argh!)… It gives a nice tint to the lips, without being too dark. Am currently searching for a similar colour from Bloom – Perhaps Tint will be similar, although I haven’t tried it yet.
euphoricMare2
This has great texture, not too sticky. The glossy part lasts a few hours on my lips which is pretty good. But although the sheer colors are very pretty, they fade pretty fast which is okay as I can put this over a lipstick.
wingedTacos7
This smelled really good- the creamsicle scent won me over, although the color had too much brown and not enough pink for my tastes. The tube is good-sized, the applicator is also big enough unlike a lot of the smaller pocket-sized glosses. It is sticky, but it’s also moisturizing and the stickiness goes away a bit before the gloss leaves.
