I reeaaaaallllyyy enjoy this gloss. A LOT. Previously, my favorite nude gloss was the Bare Minerals lacquer in 2Legit, but I ran out of that so quickly due to it not really containing a lot of product. This Anastasia gloss is less expensive, contains more product, and performs just as beautifully (if not moreso), bumping it into my top slot of HG glosses.
First off, I’d expected that the opacity of this gloss would cause it to look gloopy or milky, but it actually doesn’t at all. Instead, it looks creamy, sinks into my lips in a very flattering way, and makes them look plump and healthy. It’s a hydrating formula that has great staying power, even ever so slightly staining the lips as it wears off. I don’t get the ring of scuzz along the inner rim of my lip either, so that’s a plus. It of course will come off when eating or drinking, but it’s a gloss so that’s to be expected.
The shade Kristen is a medium brown/rosy nude that I find very flattering on my fair olive skin. It doesn’t wash me out; in fact it really brightens my complexion beautifully.
The packaging is great. It’s sturdy and heavy and feels high-end, even though it’s one of the less expensive glosses in this price range. The flattened doefoot applicator makes applying this gloss a dream, as it picks up just the right amount of product for both lips.
At $16 at Ulta, I really feel like this is a gloss that I will continue to buy.

This is my first purchase of an Anastasia Beverly Hills product and I am very impressed. I saw this product used in a Pixiwoo video and knew that it looked like an ideal colour for me. I am NC20 for reference an this colour is the perfect Rosewood shade. It’s a little bit similar in colour to MAC Smoked Almond Liptensity lipstick. The texture is amazing – very smooth and non-sticky. The colour payoff is the best I have ever come across. It is pretty much a shiny liquid lipstick – it is that opaque. I am not really a huge fan of the matte lipstick trend as my lips can be dry at times and I do prefer some moisture in any lip products I use. This is hands down the best lipgloss formula I have ever used and the colour is extremely flattering. I highly recommend.
